Jim Jones interview w/ Funk flex, spills guts + Cam Response

the Funnier part is that this is a PRIME example of Vlad taking bits and pieces of an interview and framing it like something it's not. Joe has been on Vlad's *** for a minute about doing just that

I wish rappers would stop reacting before responding, but this is 1000% on par with cam so it is what it is.

Knew that would balloon when I saw a long *** thread about it on boxden. :smh:

I hate the Youtubers who do that. Take partial interviews/pods and then slap a title on them to cause drama. When it wasn't even your work in the first place.

When I played this **** earlier I knew someone like Vlad would post it and flip it. That **** is corny as hell. I think Cam only did that for his image. Doubt he even cared.

Ehh I hate Agent Vlad and other slimey YouTubers as much as the next person but idk, Joe getting hype saying he would've ****** Cam up was gonna get back to him regardless

The thread on Boxden was sparked by the same exact YouTube vid posted in here which covers the whole discussion without anything taken out of context or a sensational title

As far as the overall discussion, after watching everybody's take including Jojo, Rell, etc I still feel Jim on a lot of the **** he was saying but he kinda made himself look a lil clownish by embellishing.

Saying you was "on Americas Most Wanted over this ****" when in reality y'all ALL were on there together as part of a fictional depiction is hilarious . Making it seem like you personally rounded up all these ****** to apply pressure up at the label offices when it was really bunch of people that somebody else brought is hella corny too

I'm kinda torn on the whole Byrd Gang thing. I thought they all collectively repped that **** together at first, basically as a nickname. I was young but I vividly remember seeing Cam wearing Byrd Gang jerseys around the Hey Ma days

They repped Byrd Gang as kinda like an alternative squad, but Jim absolutely turned it into a brand and had ****** moving under that umbrella, Cats that he personally helped build and find. So for Cam to see him doing this and Copyright it for himself is Grimey as **** when that's your right hand. So under that pretense would anyone really be like that's foul if Jim would have put hands on cam after doing that?

That's all Joe was stating in that clip. If he was in Jims shoes & his brother did that to him he would be forced to throw hands & i don't think that's off base at all.

i wonder what max b has to say about all this. wonder how **** would be if he was under cam from the jump.

I somewhat remember both these ****** running around tryna 1 up each other attempting to trademark and copyright ****. Somebody had pulled up all the applications around the time Dig start saying HE was the real owner of the Diplomats brand.

I agree with what you're saying tho. Cam sensed that Jim wasn't keeping it 100 when they talked about it and did some grimey ****.

Same way probably, Jim actually did more for max than i imagine cam would have. By the time Max got out Cam was on his way to hiatus.

I think there's three sides to a story and both might be right in parts.

But I didn't see anywhere where I thought Jim actually violated their friendship. Cam was flagrant a couple of times.

Like Joe said, if they met at 18 or 19 or whatever. They grew up together. They spent the next ten years together. You keep downplaying him like he's 40 Cal.

What's corny about what he said?

 man you think I really would pay attention to anything that dude says beyond a headline or two at this point? NAAAAAAAAAAAH

I don't listen to his "music" or his podcast, he's corny for trying to interject himself into yet another situation that doesn't even remotely involve him.

And he's Budden so anything he says is corny.

its hard for da public to take a OBJECTIVE opinion from a artist and not consider it beef...it's like u can't separate yourself between a analysis mode and talking ish being a rapper mode.

I just have different outlook on situations like this

the entire system of working for someone else is built this way

you pack up and throw hissy fits bout cam to go work for someone else to more than likely make less than you were before?

now we acting like jay z don't have the same backlog of complainers as cam?

that's what I was getting at pages back but didn't fully explain it

jim feels he's owed more from cam cause he knows him better but has no problem working for someone else with the same results

I just look at it as an actual business, for whatever reason cam has looked at jim as a supervisor with good ideas...not saying it's right or wrong but all companies do slick stuff like that

tony yayo could've blew up and sold more albums than 50 but that wouldn't make him the boss of gunit

t pain was a bigger artist than akon ever was but that didn't stop akon from cashing them checks

you can't escape this anywhere without building outside of the structure

jim feels like all americans who punch a clock which is prolly why most are siding with him

Cam copywriting Byrd Gang was a snake move. No way around it. The whole time Cam was talking the _ sounded like Alpo.

"Oh you tryna branch off B?"

When you listen to both of 'em speak the main thing is **** was all good til Jim started making his own moves. Cam ego was definitely hurt. And Jim was probably feeling himself too much.

Cam is corny for tryna downplay Jim's role. He put in a lot of work. Directing videos, the move to Koch, keeping Dipset alive. Then Cam was tryna blame Jim for Tru Life putting the paws on him.

Blaming him for Stack and Max was just weak.

All these

Only complaints I heard towards Jay was that he wasn't doing **** for people, not doing them dirty.

Right, and what did Jay do dirty in this situation? Dame was the one being belligerent in meetings and towards other execs. And Jay was over the antics.

No one who's worked with Jay since the breakup has had any issues with him. Even when Siegel was going after Jay he said Jay has never ripped him off. Meanwhile currency, beans, Jim Jones all saying dame owes them money and ain't good to work with.

The Jay is a snake narrative was cool to roll with for a while but after the dust settled it's clear that's not the case. In that roc situation the only other opinion that mattered was Biggs since he was 1/3 owner with them. He spoke highly of Jay and said the plan was to always sell rocafella from the Jump, it was just delayed due to jays success.

boys are hearing what they want to hear

not even making a case of whether jays a snake or not

I said jim went from one perceived snake to another

there were plenty of situations with jay and dipset alone that I'm not even bout to bring up
