What is your idea of adequate music volume level in the car?
For scenarios: by yourself/others. Are there tunes you don't play while others are in the car with you? How do you feel about people blasting music with windows down?

It ranges, sometimes I have it low and other times I have it moderately high.

I dont mind people who have music playing with their windows down as long as it isn't blaring.

alls i know is i turn down the volume really low if i lost...
Or when its time to park

This is variable. generally speaking my volumes are:

Talking with people in car = low.

Riding solo but going somewhere with some importance or purpose = medium (so i can think about what I need to remember)

Riding with people in the car with less convo = medium

Solo "Spirited" driving = None Except the beautiful engine noise

Good Weather windows down / Joyriding = Blasting

Irritated with drivers with space in traffic = Blasting

That one song comes on the shuffle that you haven't heard in 8 years = Blasting

Do any of yall talk in the car if having someone ride with you or blast music to the destination?

Depends. If the convo is flowin then the music is low, but if its quiet then I turn it up.

I find that when I'm leaving the gym, my adrenaline is so high that I don't notice how loud my music is.

But typically on a 0-60 scale, I'm at a 40-45. If I'm with my girl, I'm in between conversation and the music 25-30.

NPR/Podcast 30-40

I bump NPR for the most part. I'm rockin an old school setup with the CD player/radio deck. And the only CD's I have are burned ones... and I haven't burned a CD in over 5 years. I do have an iPod I could plug in but I use that for the bathroom so I don't like taking it back and forth to the car. I guess nowadays people are listening to Spotify in the car? Interesting.

When I'm alone gotta have the beat knocking. When others are riding with me I keep it real low and hate it  :smh:

I'm strange in this area. Sometimes I ride with absolutely nothing playing and listen to the sound of the road. Other times I'm blasting music. Ususally at 30. I have to keep it on an even number. Preferably one ending in 0.

I like to feel my music. If you have subs and nice components, you gotta slap. :smokin

i turn it down when im in residential neighborhoods tho.

Typically 23.

18 if I feel like talking.

32 if I wanna zone out and feel the bass.

I'm usually listening to music in my car at ignorant levels, the neighbors hate me

any of you ever listen to a guilty pleasure song and approach a light with the windows down, do you leave the song up if loud or tune it down.
