Question for people who collect sneakers so they go up in price in the future

I notice most kicks can be had for the low now on ebay/CL/mercari, etc. I see a lot of kobes, lebrons and even used jordans for $70-$100. Just copped a pair of NDS lebron xii lows for $30 last week :smokin. I can't be the only one that notices sneaker prices are plummeting. Another example is the fact that the Penny ii has been retroed about 30 times so everyone has a chance to grab a pair whenever they please. For me that's a good thing, but for the collectors doesn't that worry you guys?

i buy shoes to wear them.

penny 2 has not been retroed about "30 times"

there is no point in "collecting" sneakers. i never understood that.

when i buy a sneaker...now...or ten..or twenty years ago....i NEVER considered reselling them.

i got no problem with resellers...do what you do ...but

theres a million other ways to get money.

worry about other things op.

I haven't resold in maybe a year?
but I did this weekend.

GR Jordans are plummeting, but some stuff is common sense, IE classics or selling HYPED kicks the same week you cop.

Just have to reduce your risk.

i HATE....the fact that people buy sneakers with the intention of just selling them.

because to me....they are more than a commodity.

but i UNDERSTAND it.

Didn't mean for it to come out that way. I also buy sneakers just to wear, which is why I'm happy that I can get them for really cheap now. And the 30 times was an exaggeration. I'm on my study break and I just thought of this topic lol.

We literally had to wait for a generation to move on and find there own niche. I buy Nikes, Jordan brand, Adidas, Reebok, Timberlands. But I buy the retros of these brands. I like these shoes because I have been enjoying them so long. You can't get that if you don't wear them or don't have experience with them in my opinion. "Kids" ask silly questions in shoe stores like they have to be spoon fed info for validation instead throwing them on.

I Buy, Collect, and Wear my shoes. It became this way for me because I take care of my shoes and keep buying more resulting in a stockpile. I have like 12 beater shoes just to cut grass in from Aj4s, Foamposites, Reebok pumps, etc.

Investing money in sneakers for the future is stupid. It was a good idea a number of years ago, but everything is so saturated now that it doesn't make sense.

Buy a hyped sneaker and sell it ASAP for guaranteed profit. This is the only thing that makes sense.
