What are your beaters/go-to kicks?

Now I know everyone in the NT community likes to cop new kicks. Really, there's nothing like the first time you rock a new pair. But we all have something else in common: go-to kicks or beaters that we just put on when the weather isn't great or if you're just feeling too lazy to dig through your collection. So let's post em up!

At this point, I have three pairs of beaters:

1) AJ3 TB (09 release from across the pond. I took these on a trip to Puerto Rico back in 2014 and since then the paint has chipped and the heel tabs are gone, but these are one of my favorite sneakers of all time so I can't let go)

2) NB 998 GNR (First pair of NBs. Easy to match other pieces with and so damn comfy)

3) NB 990 BD (These became beaters by mistake really. After I got caught in the rain with these, they haven't been the same)

I wore a pair of Zoom MVPs in all black from 2008/9 until 2016. They're were all black and my wife said that they looked like non-slip restaurant employee shoes. But they were comfortable, I got stationed in Bahrain and I was working outside doing some fund raising with the guys I was working with and the pavement had become so hot that the glue that connected the sole to the body of the shoe said "I'm done", they came apart literally at the seams everywhere due to the excessive heat and standing in one place to long. When I was walking to the exchange to purchase some new shoes the soles would slap against the pavement and made me feel as if I was being followed.

Super late response on my end, but that's intense g. I had the same "slap" happen with my OG XII's, but that was cause of the age of the shoe, not the heat, haha.

Solid username btw!
