As far as the line. To me it seems like she saying everybody saying sales don't matter are the same type of people that say Lebron ain't the greatest because he don't have 6 rings.
As far as rings and hip hop go. You can easily say Platinum albums in music are equivalent to championship rings in sports. Because that's the goal. That's the highest level of success. So I don't see how it can't be a comparison. Even if it is a basic one.
But how those things are achieved can't be compared. The best teams and players when championships, how many trash artists have platinum plaques?

u maybe right about how successful it got, it explains why Remy didn't put da legal beagles on it to make it official, but now you can see there's a active industry movement to suppress da record via universal (which got Nicki signed) to protect their product.

You're a buffoon if you think I was implying Nicki would put out an album this year and sell a total of 10K copies. Her name is still big and she got fans. It's just not what it was a few years ago AND she had to get help for this. Couldn't drop a solo joint. Had to makeup with old friends that are bigger. Of course these songs will be popular and on the charts, don't know for how long though. She took a hit and everyone but her fans are laughing at her

Base off ALL 3 Songs (even solo) high on the iTunes Charts, she'll be fine. She's an "POP" artist man. She'll continue to sell and do arena tours.

Drake and Beyoncé dropped an album and EVERY SONG on both albums were on the charts. I can no longer take the charts serious.

There's an article I read the other day about how the charts are getting tricked by streaming.
For instance, half of Meeks Mixtape charted on the billboard the week it dropped. ALL of J Coles songs charted on the billboard 100 the week it dropped.

What's wild is Nicki is in this position by default, if we're being honest. She's spent the majority of her career being the only female rapper that was the complete package, she's never really had any competition. So of course your numbers and accomplishments are going to look crazy when compared to somebody who you've had a 6 year head start on. This is why the whole argument is bothersome to me.
And no it's not Nicki's fault that Remy went to jail and there's weren't any contenders to compete with, but these are just the circumstances.
