I think it was definitely necessary, wasn't like he threw a jab or anything towards Asians.
I also think it shows how much Asians put into the sneaker/resell game.

I hope he doesn't win, because more than likely those extra pairs are going to resell. Sucks, but game is game.

"how much asians put into the sneaker/resell game" What??? are you serious? wtf hahaha.

Greed/money has no race, every race resells lol

How would detailing the race be necessary when literally every race and/or ethnic group also brings families out to line up.
Because it's primarily the Asian culture that does it.

Yes, people bring out wives/girlfriends/maybe even kids, but I haven't seen other ethnic group bring family members out to the extent of Asian families.

Nothing wrong with it, like I said, game is game.

I just think you took it as he was offending them, & I don't think he was.

confirmation bias at it's finest

I was referring to your finishline comment.
I would prefer the app too but going to a store and getting a raffle ticket prevents people from out of the area to entering into the raffle and ruining the locals chances

As someone living in the NYC I know an in-store raffle doesn't really preclude folks from coming from out of town for a raffle.

What happens is kids see that "asians" have clogged up potential spots for a limited shoe, creating even more of a shortage. In the end if you miss out on the kicks then you might feel slighted by that group. It perpetuates distaste for that group.

I have seen every race group do it. I didn't take it as offensive, I only said it wasn't necessary to point out that they were Asians when again every other race group does it.

End had the Royal 1s up for their Draw but the price was over typical retail. So some people literraly skipped on that draw because they were so sure of being able to secure multiple pairs for normal Jordan 1 Retail.

Then, come release day, the mood quickly went from "everyone's copping multiple pairs" to "holy **** I just want one pair to rock"

I actually hit on that raffle. $205 to the front door isnt that bad. But then I got lucky on EB and Sheikh. .

Yes, what do you understand? You're trying to make it an issue when there isn't one.

Having THAT many people go to raffle after raffles for shoes is putting in a lot of work.

Got it, fair enough.

Question for you, though, because I believe you have the Zebras.

Any good sneaker products you would consider on Yeezys to protect these all whites?

I will say that if you find a reseller that sells in mainland China, you can make some decent cash off them with yeezys

FNL chances are better....I'm not denying that. But that's IF you can enter due to the ticket limit. Can't enter then it doesn't even matter. Again a lot of us 9 to 5 people can't enter. They are long gone.

I've never hit at my local FNLs (Willowbrook in particular) over the course of several years. Even on stuff like 11s. Meanwhile I'm on a mean Foot apps binge since the Black Toe release.

every FNL is corrupt so I dont even bother, footapps are the best thing to happen in years

Also, went to a few Finish Lines today for the rafffles, and I swear to god some Asian dude literally had his entire family there. Great grandparents, 2nd cousins, everyone getting raffle tickets.

And literally every single one of them was wearing flip flops [emoji]128528[/emoji]

I see this way too often, especially during pick up :smh: not exclusive to Asians tho lol. And what kills me is the fact that the family members are almost always completely confused, which holds up the process for the real heads; the hypebeasts will be translating to their non-english-speaking fam at the checkout desk, or running back-and-forth from the back of the line to front to clarify what size/shoe was won...just... :rolleyes

Which is why I take my chances online unless I luck up via the reservation system. But now I'm even reconsidering that, because in my last experience, one of the cashiers accidentally sold off my reserved app Royal 1s to a woman who reserved 3 and ended up with 4 because of all the confusion. Luckily they made up for it by selling me one of the employee reserved pairs lol but still. :smokin

protect sprays doesn't block out dirt or scuffs. Just repels any liquids for the time being. I don't use any products on my kicks because I just firmly believe in wearing them and for certain sneakers, I think worn/scuffed adds character to it. My turtle doves are beat and I could probably clean them up real nice but i like them kind of dirty like they are now.

I've hit the last 3 yzy v2 release on FNL. I usually go a little after the crowd dies down and chat up with the female workers. This one girl even remembers me every time I go. Not going to lie, I think she wants it. Told her I don't use social media.

Yup, us being in NY, we see the families out all too often and yup there is no specific one race group that does it. Also same incident happened to me with the Royal 1's too. They oversold my reserved pair. Kind of craps on the purpose of a reservation system.

I've seen babies in a stroll get a raffle ticket and win a mens size shoe before

more then once

this.
same experience when getting the royals off app reserve and the fog x pacsun dropped too and all the hypebeasts explaining to their parents they have to have these sweatpants with long drawstrings holding up the lines and all the usual bs. im jealous wish i had mommy buying my stuff

fta messed up with my royals too. i got a size 9 reserved and they said they gave it to someone and that they are willing to give me a sz 9.5. bummer because that pair was for a friend of mine but he says a half sz up isnt hurting him.

Respect, I really feel like if I hit on these Creams I'd be scared to wear them anywhere lol.

Paying $250 for all white shoes makes me nervous.
