It was originally created for those who actually spent money at these companies so they got rewarded with headstarts and better chances of winning. Doesn't matter as much anymore with each passing app release because more and more people will get platinum so eventually the odds will even out for those who have platinum now who has been hitting on the app previously.

You can, i've done it with Champs, you just have to tell them when returning the stuff that you don't want them to enter your VIP.  Some stores are more lenient than others.

You can tell you don't want them to enter it but if you have a receipt, your VIP number is there if you bought it to get the points. You're losing those points or not getting money back; which choice you taken?

Yes you can easily say you don't have a receipt, all you're getting is store credit cause they not giving cash back with out it.

Yep exactly, and if you know certain employee's, they let it slide easily because they could care less because they are more than likely getting paid minimum wage and to them it doesn't matter.  

Also FTL inc systems have reserves for employee's so they don't care if you get a 10 min head start or not because they still gonna get the shoe since they get 20% employee stock.


For example I purchased stuff and then returned it and when the employee asked "Do you have a VIP?" I said I do, but I don't want you to enter it because it dings my points and I want to stay platinum status.  The employee was just a PT sale's associate and just like "Ok"

if i want to ship some shoes, is it cheaper to go to usps or use the ebay shipping labels? anyone have experience with this? or the paypal shipping (never used this before).

also, whats the best way to avoid getting scammed. sold something via invoice. want to make sure buyer doesnt come back and say he got something else.

That's not true, I use to be an ASM at champ's.  20% of stock can be allocated to employee's and taken out of the reservation system before the reservations go out.  Those FTL employee's are just getting finessed by management so management can backdoor said 20% stock to their friends and make that under the table money since they are getting paid ****.

If a store get's 100 pair's of Yeezy's or Jordan Retro's lets say.  Then management can allocate 20 pairs to employee's and management.  Now management always gets first dibs, then employee's are usually left to raffle because there are always more employee's than stock that can be allocated to employee's.  So if there are 5 manager's in a store and 55 employee's lets say.  20 pairs are allocated to store employee's.  5 Said manager's are guaranteed a pair and then if 30 out of the 55 employee's want the remaining pairs, those 30 employee's are left to an "In-house" raffle between the leftover 15 pairs.

Again those employee's are just getting finessed by management because management knows how the system works and even if the shoe is on the app reserve 20% of stock can still be allocated out to the in-house employee's first.  That 20% of stock is taken out of the reservation system by management which leave's the rest of the pairs to be sent out through the reservation to "Consumers"

This is how backdooring usually occurs at these store's because managers are straight lying to employee's and using it to their advantages to become the "plug" to their reseller friend and take a piece of the resell money.

Don't use the ebay shipping labels.  They are usually wrong and you end up paying more at USPS or it's less.  Better to just take it into USPS with the info and ship through them.  Ebay just helps the user track it easier.

ebay is a 10% discount .. you should use it if you have a scale, but its usually 2-3lbs total
