I bet adidas' main goal with this restock is to hurt resellers and scare them from buying bulk stock in the future and holding onto them

I hate that all these online raffles are basically a week long, gives more and more ppl opportunities to enter, villa gleam raffle already have over 100k entries

So for long Island I'm being told you have to be in the Nyc zone ? Makes no sense and screws the people on Long Island lol

Let me stir the pot...

IF adidas produces yeezy's on the scale of say a Jordan 11...does he sell out?
I think they would sell out anyway bc thats the reseller mantra: Buy up all the stock

The resell would be at the level of the PPs imo

Maybe we'll hit this time.
that's the same hope that makes us enter these raffles every release

"maybe this time I get lucky" *enters raffle*

True. Bulk is the real money now a days. Not that many limited releases that are fetching and remaining high dollar resell.

Maybe like the NMD OG R1s.
Initially thought if they re-released a V2, that would bookend the model to next version i.e. PB V1. Still might signal end cause remember the talk of a possible V3 style.

Maybe not today. But in a few years definitely. He's gotta build his brand for a little while longer. Jordan 11s wouldn't sell out if the dropped them with the production numbers they do now, 10-15 years ago. They would be sitting going on sale. Like.... cough* cough* Retro 1s

Yeah I realized that after I posted and everyone responded basically saying the same thing

I was like "Yeah actually it doesn't make sense for adidas to do that to this pair in particular"

Doesnt YM regularly retweet and post info from Sami? I dont understand what happened.

I find it odd they posted a cw as an "april fools joke" and all of the sudden the exact same cw is actually supposed to release. Seems like theres more going on here than meets the eye.

YM has as much info as we do.

YM is run by morons. Nothing odd about it

A majority of the ppl I know are only into YZYs because of the hype and resale. And considering how much Adidas has been pumping out the V2 those who were in it for the wave are slowly starting to lose interest.

However, I also believe the colorway matters. If we were talking Zebra it's possible. If we're talking any of the stripe colorways they might not.

Overall I think it'd be a 50/50 on what would happen. If Adidas produced those type of numbers for say 3-4 releases a year than no they would not because ppl will pick and chose their preferred c/w.
