ADIDAS X YEEZY COLLAB OFFICIAL 2017 THREAD *NO LC's PLEASE*

I think the whole theme behind was that they wanted to remove all logos and brandings and make it 1 color and upper using veg tan leather. So they use a limited sneaker model as the base and make it more subtle. I think it's a cool theme but I just wouldn't spend that much.

this but I think you can't discount the fact that each piece has the best quality leather and is handmade.

I'd look at them the same way one would a high end boot like Viberg. You get a well crafted shoe with individual character.

you could say alot of the above is just marketing but when you compare a mass-produced shoe like the Yeezy (with **** QC if the zebras are any indication) to the Hender Scheme, I'd say you get much more bang for your buck with the latter. A well maintained pair can last you a lifetime.

Technically any sneaker can with the right care and lets not act like we dont have big rotations.

Quality is superb but $1000+ for them is a lot.u

I respect your opinions but I don't know if using for instance the fours as a base is necessarily individual character; I can see eye to eye on quality though, the leather does look top notch and I actually dig the flesh tone, price tag makes it an easy pass for me though.

That's fair but my thinking is more:

Hender Scheme 500-1000 wears (with resoles and leather maintenance)

Mass-produced sneakers 100-300 wears

Over the course of like 5 years

Not for their prices.

For sure dude - I'm in full agreement

I'd actually say that my only main gripe is that they rely on recreations of existing silos rather than their own original designs.

My favourite HS are probably the Slouchy and Vans "Homage" - their simplest designs

I just don't get the designs like Instapumps or Presto

In any case, I'd probably spend my thousands on HS over Yeezy resell for the reasons I mentioned.

Thats cool man, I think a lot of us have our guilty pleasure designer brands...for me I have some Lanvin and Ferragamo in the rotation- the simple ish that begs the same question- you paid how much for those? Why? :smh:

I love Hender Scheme. I have their Jordan IV rip off from their manual industrial product line. They take well known shoes and hand craft them using quality leathers and craftsmanship hence the MIP line.
I plan on handing them down to my son, hoping I'll be blessed with a son.
Pic I took last summer to show the aging process. No filter just the sun.

Daaaamn man - that's that individual character I'm talking about. Is that a rubber resole I see?

I've been thinking about resoling my Vans Henders with a skinny crepe sole.

Your future son is a lucky boy

But are they something you were over the course of x amount of years?

Its not like a pair of nice boots or dress shoes.
