Yeah don't they charge 29% interest or something like that? I always see those companies in the news being investigated for shady lending practices. Payday loan companies prey upon the poor. That's why there are so many of the in the 'hood.
Exactly, they know (just like CC companies) that people live in the moment for the most part and typically procrastinate or don't follow through on their intentions. I know 2 brothers that own a chain of those joints, and they're filthy rich off of them. I don't know how they all work but I believe you have up to 30 days depending before the interest is jacked up. Same reason CC companies let you have 12-18 months with no interest, they know people will pay off their other cards and be left with a high balance when the interest kicks in. Its sad how people allow themselves to be taken advantage of, but the fault is on them.

all this talk about loans and dude still hasn't posted pics of the boost or inside tag of these "$500 zebras" [emoji]129300[/emoji]

Whoever sold zebras for $500 because they need the money is someone that's not smart with money. Because if he was he would have known he could have sold if for $800 just as fast as $500

What if he needed that 500 for his next re-up on his shipment of white yeezys lol

You have basically a week before you are screwed, smart move when you clearly have money issues is take the cash
Are you really this bad at math? Even if he takes longer than a week and pays 20% interest for a month, that's only $100 in interest. He'd owe $600 to pay off the loan. He could easily sell the zebras on stockx and net over $1k. Nobody is advocating a pay day loan as a great tool but in this case it's a much better alternative than selling the Zebras at 50% of market. What part of this do you not grasp?

No I'm actually very smart when it comes to finances

If you are even considering a pay day loan chances are you suck with money and will **** it up

I'd argue that if you are advocating selling anything at 50% of market, you aren't very good with finances. Him being bad with finances is irrelevant. He can **** up the $500 just as easily as the $900. Bottom line is selling at $500 cost him a lot of profit. I don't know why it's so hard for you to grasp that.

You came up. Good for you. Stop trying to justify it as a smart move by him though. It just makes you look ignorant.

Who said it was a smart move by him? When you suck with money and need cash asap it's smarter not to lock yourself into some high interest pay day loan

You are coming off as kind of salty

Welcome to NT Financial Services, LLC. Hey guys should I put my FC profits in a money market account or just put it in my 401(k)?

401(k).
MMA accts are pretty much worthless in a sustained low interest rate environment. Recent and upcoming rate hikes will create a negligible return. Savers get punished in this type of situation.
MMA can be a part of 401(k), but still worthless. Take advantage of the tax deferred feature of 401)k, the ability to choose different investment products, etc...
Just saying.

The money talk is bit much.
Dude just needs to post pics of shoe.

No reason to argue over spilled milk. Yes, he could've/should've gotten more if they're legit- but he didn't. I think everybody in here at some point has made a poor decision so no reason to go on and on about what he could've done instead. Got that Pawn Stars deal, end of story. There's houses/land and commercial real estate being auctioned off for 50% or less all the time, these things happen. Some people live off other's mistakes

Nah b you just not making sense. If you gonna sell anything at least make a decent profit, that's the bigger picture. Pay day loans are the smaller picture. Cudos to dude who came up on them though lucky guy. Moving on let's get cream v2s and forget about pay day loans.

You're saying that bc he sucks with money, he made the right move by throwing away $400. You're bad with money if you cosign that idea.

I'm not salty at all. I just despise ignorance. I understand being anti pay day loans but in this case he would have been much better going that route. There's literally no argument against it unless you start making up hypothetical situations to fit your argument and then you look dumb in the process.

Seems like every yeezy szn people in here are always giving financial advice

. Do what you want with your money, im team retail or bust.

Btw does anybody know how to shrink the primeknit of yeezys? just so it fits tighter? (Bred v2 to be exact.)

Yeah it's a smart move not to lock yourself into a pay day loan you have a week to pay off

I'm done going back and forth with someone who thinks a pay day loan is a good idea. Guessing you've used them before.
No, you don't have a week to pay it off. If you go past a week, you just have to pay 20% interest. That's only $100. You realize that right? Throwing away $100 in interest is more beneficial than selling at $500 and throwing away $500 profit.

There are very few situations in which using a pay day loan is a good idea. This is one of them. Being anti something to the point it costs you money is pure ignorance. It's that simple.

Probably not a good one if you are advising pay day loans

I'd be worse to advise someone to pass on $500 profit bc of my dislike of pay day loans. Sometimes you have to use tools you don't like when they will benefit you. In this case the pay day loan would have benefited him. There's literally no argument against it. "He's bad with money so it made sense for him to throw away $400" is simply laughable.
