Right but JB has low 1s and Jumpman-branded high 1s for this exact purpose.

The height of the mids isn't even much different than the highs so it doesn't make much sense to me. I have noticed they have slowed down significantly on mid releases though.

who knows, objectively speaking im sure whatever the reason was because market research supported it. as someone with a sneaker minded bias somtimes i have to force myself into remembering that the majority of people that by sneakers in general buy them for utility and arent swayed in the same way we are

Yeah this is true, maybe the small amount of materials saved producing a mid vs a high ends up saving them a bunch of money on total production runs... Who knows.

Aren't mids like $30 cheaper than jumpman hi's?

Needs a Wu-Tang symbol

Curious if the plan is to release on the 21st, just like the original pack was in 2007.

Man I told wifey royals and low Columbia were the last kicks I'll buy for the year but I want these. I had the 2007 pack but sold them since they were too tight.

I'll just have to sneak them in and probably won't notice.
I really want these I got the gotta SHINE and the royals now I want theses I have plenty of yellow jerseys to go with em 110$ not bad

I spoke to a rep at ShoePalace and he said these look to be a Niketown-Only physical release, randomnly dropping sometime next month. Also question for the LA NTer's, the Niketown that was on Wilshire moved to the Grove right?

I knew it would be a QS
Wait, so these are a straight up QS?

Guess it makes sense. Not a color many people would want to pick up and wear. Very niche.

If it's randomly dropping I see no reason for it not to be a QS, I'm sure the numbers will be high but they just don't feel the need to hype it up. I agree with the niche since the BM pack was loved and hated, I'm more curious as how the box is going to look.

Edit: nevermind its just a black box with the gold jumpman

I don't think this will be a niche shoe. Seems very popular on IG as well. I think people are looking to cop as they now don't have to be bought in a pack. From what I have heard this would be planned as a normal release, not a Jordan calendar release items, but a larger release at retailers. Not sure about online yet.

anyone got an SKU?

LOL it's pretty niche in the sense of who likes it

1. It's a mid with Jumpman branding

2. Not an OG colorway

3. Even DS the resale for New Loves has never been high, you can get a DS pair for probably $150-175 (SZ 9.5 most common size)

4. The pack to begin with had very mixed reviews, with most people only copping for the sole reason of wearing the Blacktoes while the New Loves were unworn and resold.

But overall 1s have became trendy which is funny, but I doubt it'll sellout.

generally i agree with this, but if theres any 1 mid thatll break the mold its definitely these ones.

Seems like there is a demand though, and seems pretty favorably liked on IG. I don't own any mids, have about 6 different ones, but the majority was not a mayor release either, or necessarily with huge value besides some of the more classic ones. But I like this one, and think it would make for a good beater, with it being a mid.
And at $110, that makes it favorable too. Staying on top of this one to see how and where it releases, but it will not be an official drop, they will just start showing up along the other mids from what I understand.

I can tolerate the jumpman on the tongue (barely). I cannot tolerate it on the heel. Too bad. I really like this colorway but wouldn't wear them if you gave them to me for free...

Let's be real here. This model cannot possibly be a GR or made in mass number. We will NOT see this available for the entire family either.

It's a very "loud" color scheme and the general public will not have an interest for these. Now, if you made them a QS with limited numbers, they will sell out FAST!
