Yeezys cost 400+?
I just hope whoever wins the auction is going to pay...
Yes. Details are in the topic post.
@Methodical Management will the FCFS run of the hats also go to charity?
It's still possible, but it couldn't happen until Fall at the absolute earliest.@Methodical Management niketalk live 2017?
There was a logistical issue with the food at the last event. The vendor we approved, for whatever reason, didn't work out, so a last minute change was required. I'm disappointed that the selection wasn't to everyone's liking.

What's up Supa, been a minute. Forever appreciative of the CTK Lebron VIIs.
^^ lol yeah man
when ?
It could've been worse. It could've taken five bids to reach 5 cents.Meth, I placed a much higher max bid so I don't miss out. 5 cents was all it took to be the highest bidder at the time

If I find out who bid 5 cents on this hat, I'm banning you for trolling.
Quick update: for some strange reason, there was an technical issue preventing new charity listings from going up today. ISS is working on it with eBay and we're now planning to create two new listings tomorrow.
We'll still stagger the closing times so the auctions will all close one day apart.
Links to the new auctions will be added as soon as they're available.
Thanks so much to everyone who's participated in the bidding process thus for for our initial listing. We appreciate your generosity.
I always love seeing people wearing and enjoying their hats. I'm glad you appreciate the effort and I hope you're able to get one this time, too. This is EXCELLENT news and I pray I get a hat. I actually wear mine and prefer a snapback.
Yo @Methodical Management, I got a suggestion. PLEASE DON'T CHEW ME! First and foremost, I'm grateful for this and have no complaints. I would like to point out that there are definitely way more members than ever now. FOR ARGUMENTS SAKE, let's suppose all 32 hats go for $200. That's $6400 for charity. That's not bad, not bad at all. What if you guys were to actually take pre-orders, right. Sell the hats for $60 and whoever wants one has to pay IN FULL by a certain deadline. I can't imagine they cost more than $30 to make but let's just say $30. $30 to make, $30 goes to charity, right. Here's the kicker, you make 300 of them. By that math, the $30 to charity multiplied by 300 hats = $9,000. More members get a hat, more money is donated to charity, and there's zero risk of failure because the members fronted their money when they did the preorders. It's a win, win, win situation.
Even if this never happens, it is what it is. I'm just excited at the opportunity to get one. Thank you Meth. You're appreciated more than you know.
Preorders can sound ideal if everything goes right, but it's my responsibility to plan on the basis of what could go wrong. As indicated in the post @Nawzlew quoted, there's an awful lot that can go wrong with pre-orders - and this whole ordeal is actually proof of that.
I actually placed the order for these caps, with the help of our friends at Cap City, back in the summer of 2015.
When they finally received them, they all looked like this:
The error was completely inexplicable. There was no blue anywhere in the design. Obviously we had to send them back and start over again. Given the clear mistake, that should've been pretty clear cut. It was not. That process wasn't completed until this past March. Cap City had to make a big effort for us on this, even though they weren't the ones responsible for selling them.
The delays didn't stop there. When the correct hats finally came in, we then had the hats shipped to Wikia, where we'd planned to offer some at NikeTalk Live 2017 and hold a contest/giveaway. Changes at Wikia effectively cancelled all of those plans, and the hats then had to be shipped to Instyleshoes. Unfortunately, the wrong hats were sent to ISS by mistake. We had to wait another week from there for the correct hats to arrive.
Imagine if you pre-ordered this product in July 2015 and they just shipped out to you now.
We need to be the ones to accept the risk on this, not you. We don't want to let down those who trust us due to circumstances beyond our control.
