****The Everything LaVar Ball Thread****

You not making any sense.

I been said it in here he went overboard mentioning Shaq, Lebron and MJ kids. If somebody is talking about your kids and you get asked about it you're gonna tell him to chill if you got any backbone.

But like I said ya'll weirdos got hate and bias against certain people so that's all ya'll see.

You're so hell bent on talking about hate and bias that you're missing the point. LeBron isn't in a position to be making veil threats. Now if Lavar decies to continue talking about his kids, then what? LeBron is going to continue to make statements and show he has even more "backbone." Child Please.

When someone says it's a problem, the usual next course of action would be a confrontation. But Lebby isn't in a position to engage in such things. He can't do anything about it because he has to protect his brand and not open up himself to a lawsuit.

Sign Charles Oakley or someone of that caliber of dirty to a 10 day contract when he plays Balls team.

Knock the dude down on his *** as he's driving plus the patented Oakley elbow to the jaw.

Hopefully hurt him for a few weeks and if the dad continues to mouth off continue the said process indefinitely.

Profit?!?

But honestly dad just needs to shut the **** up. His mouth is going to create a check that one of his kids can't cash and he'll be the one to blame. His youngest son is lucky he played in the same high school league I played because I would have had no problem putting him on his *** with a little extra something if I heard stuff like this as a teenager. My coach would have encouraged it too.

espn loves the guy so much. He says anything and sportscenter will play a clip and ask guests to analyze it. The world doesn't need daily updates on him.

It's truly fascinating. I truly meant that Trump comparison. It's like at first, it starts off seeming like a troll job until he gains enough steam to the point that ESPN/SportsCenter start doing things like you mentioned. Watch this guy end up with an ESPN college/high school analyst or on screen position

fs1 is the same way now. Like someone else mentioned the troll of trolls loves the guy.

Reminds of history channel and reality shows. We have blame the audience for eating this **** up too.

Real talk

Remember when VH1 used to show retro videos and nostalgic **** from the past?

Now it's all Celeb-reality.

6 degrees of separation from surreal life and flavor flavor :smh:

Just like I said would happen, Lonzo Ball called LeBron's bluff. This is his response to LeBron's tough talk:

"Apologize for what?" he asked. "I don’t apologize for nothing."

And then, Ball accused LeBron of being too "touchy" and said that he was just speaking the truth when he revealed that he doesn’t think the sons of star NBA players can transform into stars themselves.

"I don’t care what LeBron said," he said. "He talking about he warned me. He warned me for what? What is a warning going to do? Nothing. Now, if he get a little touchy because I gave an opinion on what I felt about no superstars’ kids really being superstars and the fact that they have to live up to their parents or to their fathers or whatever. I have yet to see one, and I’ve been around for 50 years. Have you seen one where the superstar’s son is just as good or better than him? I said a superstar. I ain’t saying just a regular player. I’m talking about a guy who we picture as an icon—a Dr. J, an Allen Iverson, a LeBron James. If somebody asks me a question, I’m gonna give them an answer. Now, if you touchy, I didn’t say, 'Oh, your kid is ugly, he can’t play a lick.' I didn’t say none of that. I said, 'I don’t see him being as good as LeBron.'"

It sounded like he questioned LeBron parenting, saying he's not spending time with them, because LeBron has to work on himself. Idk if I'm co-signing these comments. Dude just needs to fall back.

How you gonna accuse a man of being "touchy" when you talked about his kids and in a non-endearing fashion no less?

Dude should stick to hyping up his kids + brand and leave other folks names out of his mouth

So alotta people feel like Lavar crossed the line with the comment on Lebron's kids?

Looking at Lavar"s follow up comments to Lebron... yall still see an issue?

Is his just flat out wrong for giving his opinion on the subject, or is he flat out wrong that superstar's kids dont go on to be superstars themselves?

so basically saying something like "Your kid will not be as good as you at basketball mr once in a lifetime talent"... that statement shouldn't be uttered out loud... is that whats the fuss is about?

Really? So if I say lebron's kids won't be good at basketball I said something just that "disparaging" ?

Don't think what lavar said was that bad

Wasn't like he was saying his kids are ugly, terrible, or slandering them in any real way.

Most parents want their kids to be better than them.

LeBron has a 10 year old and a 12 year old and a lil girl. You tell him that....he'll tell you don't speak on his kids potential.

LeBron believes in his Kids just as much as Lavar does. Good dads. Leave other people kids out of it.

People in the public eye get so many passes for saying so much outlandish %$@#. Leave all that barbershop talk at the barbershop. Ball knows that these ball players he namechecks won't really come at him like that, because it would be "wrong" of them to do so.

Dude said Shaq, Kareem, Magic, & Jordan's kids are all wack.

and that's cool to some of ya'll dudes?
