****The Everything LaVar Ball Thread****

Been watching more and more tape on Lamelo....he's almost as talented as Lonzo was at the same age.

Dude is quick as hell in game speed. He also has the "shakies" that Lonzo lacks. Supreme confidence, vision and feel for the game too.

When his legs get under him and he continues to get stronger....he'll be a problem.

They killin them
They basically saying the same stuff I've been saying. The father is Puff Daddy status right now and it's a joke. His son is going to get destroyed in the NBA. Not because of his skills,  but because yesterday his son looked like a total pushover. Dude is going to go crazy if he has to play for a team outside of LA because nobodies going to be around to protect him.

He needs to grow a sack and tell his father to calm it down. He's darn near a grown man now.

Lonzo has been making statements about Fultz. He needs to calm that down. He'll be perceived differently than Lavar, and once you get labeled as a player it will be hard to remove it.

I think the media likes talking about Lavar, because he has a engaging personality and they don't really like talking about basketball. A lot of them treat it like we treat hockey.

At first I hated on him, now I love it cuz its upsetting so many people. **** ESPN **** fs1 and if you down with them **** you too.

How you hate on someone then love him cuz a group of people you were a part of were upset by him...

Dudes hopping on the LaVar bandwagon, real trolls been with da big baller brand since day 1.

That's just how I roll. It happened organically.

This. His inner lavar rubbing off on him when he knows he not better than fultz right now. When he gets to the league he needs to get far away from his pops and learn to think for himself. Dude looks like a little robot on these interviews.

At the end of the day dudes are way too bothered by some random sports dad that they'll never meet and has no effect on them.

They don't know.... everyone here commenting is basing their wild opinions of 30 second clips of like 2 games and him playing at the local 24hr fitness.

Been watching this kid play since lonzo was a sophomore. LaMelo will be fine. He doesn't have the same all around game that lonzo has, but he brings his own thing to the table. The middle brother has a bit of an uphill battle in front of him, tho.

this.

i dont understand how people bring these TMZ type topics from ESPN to debate in the real world

then some of those same people will complain about the content on ESPN but cant stop feeding into it

I just want to watch sportscenter am and look at jaymee and sarina bae's legs and a few sports highlights without them mentioning this guy. They haven't talked about him in 2 days so that's a good sign. Someone's dad shouldn't be a topic or constantly talked about. The only exception being Papi Lebatard.

Still baffling to me when dudes decided that being a liberal and caring about things became nauseating. Folks are out there fighting for your civil rights that you'll benefit from while you sit at home not giving a **** and that's a problem. It's bizarre, it's like a modern day house slave mentality. Not calling anyone that btw.

MANNNNNN GET THIS FAT *** DUDE WITH THE FEDORA OUT OF HERE!!!!! Talkin about the boy being emasculated and being afraid of his father.....Lonzo reminds me of me....calm & confidence but still learning....the dude is a student

I havent had many disagreements with my father either and if I'm out with him and he wants to talk ima let him talk OUT OF RESPECT NOT FEAR!
I'll let my father talk and say **** just because he has more experience than me and at the same time....im gonna do what I HAVE TO DO!

Lonzo 19, he dont got to talk just play ball

It's weird. Hating bad things is seen as a negative by some people. Then I see on social media that conservatives leave the most hateful and negative comments like it's so much better.

How long was Whitlock drinking milk from **** for? He argued with his mom about not producing chocolate milk from her beasts. Was I the only one who heard this?

It's a confusing mindset.

if his name was Larry Barnes, a white father, everyone would be praising him
That's not true at all. If anything, most of you guys are defending him because his name isn't Larry Barnes. There comes a point where you have to admit dude is doing goofy **** regardless of him being a good father. Like why are you calling out plays from the sidelines

Have you ever been to a HS basketball game? Or a middle school game?

Parent do this **** all the time.

And the race aspect is 100% true, if he was white or even a woman, he would be viewed different. LaVar is annoying to some because he doesn't fit into the usual stereo type the media pushes to folk.

And god forbid young black men that understand how black men are ******** on in the media and society defend other black men. Oh the horror. :rolleyes

You pedaling alternative fact pa

He jumped the shark the first time he talked to media. I blame espn2 and fs1 for the garbage they call sports media. He's like their dream guest. Oh he says crazy things, we need to have him on our shows every 3-4 days.

I agree to an extent. But it's not espn and fs1's fault. LaVar is good for ratings, otherwise he wouldn't constantly be on those shows. People watch to hear him say something outlandish. It's mutual gain for both sides though. LaVar gets free promotion for BBB, gets to put his brand out there and parlay that into a reality tv show. Espn gets good ratings off it.

Is LaVar and opportunist and making the most out of his platform? Hell yeah he is and it's smart on his end. But him and espn both benefit from him being on every other day.
