****The Everything LaVar Ball Thread****

Ok now he needs to think about alienating sponsors for his children. You're having fun, but take a step back man.

more like, what a *****.

ironic coming from a guy who looks like he couldn't keep up with anybody, white or black.

**** him. he's gonna wake up one day and turn on lonzo cause he's too light-skinned.

I never thought Lavar would actually hurt lonzo's stock until now. Mark my words, whichever team drafts lonzo will constantly have to deal with negative press from this fool.

Legit question, I haven't watched much NCAA over here overseas, is Lonzo that nice for his dad to make these claims and demands?

nobody is. not a soul.

he's supposed to be a top 3 pick and has some nice talents but also some flaws and question marks on his game that he'll need to work on. potential to be a top-tier point guard. but (and i could be wrong) not on the level of LeBron, Kobe, etc when they came into the league.

Lavar has yet to backtrack or apologize on any one of his controversial comments. It will be interesting to see how he deals with this one.

Honestly if I was a gm with the top 5 pick this year I wouldn't draft Lonzo just because I wouldnt want to see Lavar at every home game making stupid comments before, after and during the whole game.
Gonna be poison for any team that picks Lonzo. Plus no opponent's gonna make it easy on him.
If Lavar doesn't step back. all his sons gonna have a hard time in the league
I believe he might slide in the draft. Probably down to Sacramento at #7 or lower.

Lavar went from being on every major sports show last week to being completely out of the news. He was the talk of the town. This was a blatant troll to try and get himself back in the news cycle

It's time to ****. I said pages ago he gonna hurt his son draft stock if he keep opening his mouth. It became abboyinf after the 1st 2 days.

Still not seeing how this hurts his draft stock. Any competement NBA management staff would take Lonzo if he's still available, provided he fits into their scheme.

Folks are giving LaVar way too much credit as if what he says matters or impacts Lonzo's talents.

Welp, thought pops would be smart enough to stay away from race. Media been waiting for this.

Yep, I went to ESPN on my phone and you can tell they couldn't wait for the click bait headline.

but this might finally get him to shut up

LaVar is dumb for this, such an unforced error.

I can't mix words, this was a racist comment. No matter how innocuous you might feel the comment may be, when you go into stuff like this (genetic attributes based on race), you crossed the line.

Then you should be fired considering the typical multimillion dollar security teams that sports teams employ that can easily escort him out if he becomes a problem.

This won't affect Lonzo's draft stock one bit. However, you best believe that whatever team picks him will probably have a clause to keep Lavar out of the arena for practices and games. He's proving to be toxic.

It doesn't really work like that, and Lonzo would probably say don't pick him

They can restrict LaVar from practices (LaVar didn't mess with Alford so I don't know why people think he will do it to a NBA team), and they can't just ban him from games.
