RANGE ROVER VELAR - slotted between Evoque and Sport - Starts @ $49,900

what makes this range different from the others. I barely see a difference

size and price, I figure they are trying to place it to compete against the Macan

the Evoque starts at $41k and the Sport starts at $65k so they just want to expand and capitalize to those willing to spend in between or for those who are considering an Evoque be persuaded to go up to the Velar for a slightly higher price

I think it also opens it up for RR to raise the starting on the Sport with the Velar below it

I don't how I feel about Rover's being owned by Tata group though! Historically, depndabiltity is definitely a sketchy factor on rovers, specially now (considering that the parent company makes the cheapest cars for a 3rd world nation) :lol:
