Starter jacket questions

Does anyone who is familiar with starter jackets know the difference between these 2 pullover starter jackets? I'm not sure if it's just the style it if one jacket is heavier or lighter than the other. View media item 2353008

As you can see, they're both pullovers, but have different style patterns. I know one is made in Indonesia and the other is Korea. Which one is better overall?

The versions with 2 huge stripes on the sleeves are the first editions. They have a larger front pocket with the team name spelled out which looks better than the other one.



The 2nd editions with the small shoulder stripes were always left on the clearance racks.
The jackets are the same weight.

Thanks. I edited my post because I posted 2 of the same Michigan jackets. Fixed it though.

So, you like the first editions better? Just to make sure, the ones with the stripes in the chest are the second editions correct?

Do you know if starter jackets easy to find in thrift shops? I live in NYC, but I'm not sure of any good thrift shops around.
 
1st edition pullovers have the team name spelled out on the front pockets with No stripes on the chest.

Yes, Ive always liked the 1st editions better.

Not sure about thrift shops, but plenty of sellers online have them available.
