The way he brought the "he rapes but he saves a lot of people" bit full circle was masterful. On paper, I'd argue that a huge number of people wouldn't laugh at that joke. But that delivery... bravo, b. :smokin

He rocked us to sleep with the MLK stuff, then hit us with one of the most skillful callbacks ever.

He's a master up there.

This was great.

This first was more crafty, the second was rapid fire.

I watched the first out of the two, he's reminding me a little of George Carlin

My favorite comedian of all-time. Love that there were always jewels in all his sets, if you chose to think critically. Definitely see A LOT of that in Dave; especially in this climate.

This highlights why the first special is better. Several call backs tie into the end e.g. O.J., Cosby Rapes, the Gay Superhero.

The second one was good. I'm definitely going to rewatch them again.

both were good but the second one is definitely funnier to me.

Cant wait for the 3rd one. You could tell these were filmed a while ago tho.

Watched the 1st one. :smokin
Will watch 2nd tonight. As most are saying will be ready for a double :smokin :smokin

He smoking to much? Getting older? noticed recent couple apperances/ interviews and snl hes voice is deeper. Since chappelle show. Thought he was just sick with a cold or something

The first was was mildly funny. I'm not gonna call it a classic or anything but it was solid and old Chappell. The second one lacked rhythm and seemed like a step down in quality.

I enjoyed the feel and tone of the second more. Felt like he was working through a lot more material in the second. Nothing like when a comedian takes a seat, lights a cigarette and starts riffing. Got to catch a Mooney set like that years ago, and I'll never stop talking about it.

I think that's what I mean. It felt less like a special and more like your just seeing him in a club riffing etc. I liked the structure of the first one more

I believe the first one was cut up between different nights at that one location.

Second one was one night, just saying i guess that explains the small differences in how it felt

Really? So he just wore the same clothes for multiple nights?

Not tryna come at you, just genuinely surprised if Age of Spin was really multiples nights of footage stitched together. I only watched it once yesterday but it seemed like his outfit was exactly the same throughout the show.

this was good, too bad people got really crappy shows when he came to their towns.

he was here and he literally had the dj play a game with the crowd, and he talked nonsense.

dave will always be funny, some people are just blessed.

Oh no I know you ain't coming at me. I noticed the people on the front row right kept changing. Like first it was a lady, then some dude.
Then I could've swore I read somewhere it was from multiple nights.
Lol I guess that was his show fit. He wore the same jacket on Jimmy Kimmel last night
