Do you?

I feel like admittance is the ultimate sign of maturity and self awareness.

It was tough for me at first but I've gotten better.

it always seems like a void of being innocent but knowing not being guilty is the only way to accept your fail

There's always the initial resistance, but I've gotten much better at admitting when I'm wrong/made a mistake.  It's not easy, but it's necessary for self-improvement.

This, it's required for true, real growth. Let that ego go. Feel stupid for the moment or actually be stupid for the long haul, easy choice if you get to that stage of enlightenment.

It usually never happens because I don't get involved with **** I'm not knowledgeable about. I'm not one of those people who has an opinion about everything. I seek out experts and formulate my opinions off that. But yeah... if I'm wrong it's no sweat off my back.

I agree with you, OP. Admitting you're wrong is definitely a sign of maturity.

Before being married, my wife (then gf) would go back and forth constantly because neither of us could admit we were wrong. But we have learned how to communicate better and accept and own up to our wrong doings.

It's still a challenge at times, especially when you get caught up in the moment. For me, it's constant work of progress.

do yall admit faults at the workplace?

this is whats most difficult to me.

you admit fault where i work, it makes you look weak.

Yes unless its my chick, in that case l'm always right.

I do, but I'm rarely wrong about stuff that would need to be corrected.

However, being the "bigger person" about something is hiiiiighly overrated.

I don't speak on anything unless I know what I'm talking about.

Either way, I'm more than happy to admit when I'm wrong. It's a quality of maturity and self-awareness that not many people learn.

The biggest lesson I've learned in life: Be careful what you say because you can't take it back.

Accountability and responsibility is paramount in my definition of manhood. I'm always willing to embrace truth and reality.
No matter what position I hold, thats the side I always gravitate towards, and I don't allow ego or pride to hold me back.

Yes, I do.

It may make you look bad at that moment, but if you show you're making the effort to improve, it shows character.

This.

At work and generally speaking, I have no problem admitting I'm in the wrong. There is no sense in harping on a defense in times where it is clear as day you are at fault.

How is being the bigger person highly overrated???

I admit when I'm wrong because sometimes I'm not right..sh*t happens. I can't stand people that swear that they never wrong though

I don't even speak on **** I don't know of. For that reason, I'm hardly ever wrong because I do my research or have common knowledge over what I'm talking about. Now if I have an idea and it fails, then I admit that it didn't work.
