Nike Zoom Vaporfly Elite 2017

Quick pic of the SPs that arrived from END today. Not the best pic, but they're dope in person.

As someone that can't really wear Flyknit Racers because they look awful with my wide foot, these seem wide-foot friendly. Comfort was there. I dunno what type of Lunar they used in these, but it's not nearly as squishy as the Lunar I've used before. They're nothing like boost, which are really squishy. I'm not sure how to describe it. Firm and responsive, yet soft and comfortable.

Im sure that's how C/D cups boobs feel like lol

how did you size?
I went TTS. Sorry, should've mentioned that in the initial post.

appreciate the feedback

the plate sandwiched between the sole definitely prevents it from being softer than other lunars

I thought most breasts felt like a bag of sand :wow:

Just ran about 5 miles in mine and they felt awesome after taking about a week off. I run about a 7:00 mile usually with my Peg33s and I thought those were pretty fast, but these are on a different level. I clocked in around 6:29 today. The shoes feel like they wanna propel you forward and they're very light. They feel a little clunky at first when you put them on but you don't really notice it after a little while. I also normally get a bit of lower back pain due to being a heel striker, nothing too bad but a general bit of soreness and nothing today. Im assuming due to the way the shoe is meant to lessen heel strike which someone mentioned. The energy return is nice on these as well. Overall, I really enjoyed the zoom flys and probably will make them my daily runners. Im excited to try out the 4%

Went to cop on NDC. But coupon code didn't work so I will keep on waiting until I can get a good discount

From all the input I've read, the Zoom Fly seems very promising. I wonder if there'll be a significant difference in performance versus the VaporFly. [emoji]128064[/emoji]

Are these only online and at running stores? If anyone knows of a place in Houston that got them, I'm interested.

Worst case scenario, I'll just have to order them and possibly return :frown:

Nike store in Atlanta had the light blue ones.

same here, if I could find it for retail because it's probably much lighter than the regular Zoom Flys

As many of you have said. These are unbelievable in person.
Like the majority of the people here I've only seen pics, but does the upper look durable enough for everyday runs? To me it just looks like one small poke with a pen would make a hole in them. And would you be using these casually or running because you're definitely not wearing shorts haha

I got my pair in, and no doubt, durability looks solid. The fit is tighter in the SPs than the regular Flymesh pair.

Yeah I ran in my pair as well and the durability seems to be pretty solid. I can see these being hard to pull off casually however

It's been a while since I've copped a NikeLab release. Since when did they stop using special boxes and not the new, generic orange ones. They look like outlet boxes.

Yea it kind of irked me that they came in a ol regular Nike box.

All of the NikeLab running-specific shoes (minus the VaporMaxs) have come in the generic orange box. I would've loved the pull-out box but oh well. The dust bag is a nice touch though!
