If I am missing something in the first post, let me know. I'll add

I like our bat so far. I would like to see Alderson bringing us a guy who can actually play defense behind the plate

I don't have any confidence in d'Arnaud at all

Any Royal or White Sox player that interests y'all? Royals and White Sox could be on fire sale this year

I think it's fair to say that Reyes is a scumbag, but we got him on the cheap b/c of his issues and nobody cares as long as he's out there getting hits and stealing bases.

That is a true shame though. SMH

Checking in :smokin

Im super excited for this season. If we can be healthy this season, no reason why we dont dominate and win it all.

A good article about Jay Bruce doing some research into his swing.....https://www.nytimes.com/2017/03/21/...ts-hitting-data.html?partner=rss&emc=rss&_r=0

Crazy to think we can have 3 starting outfielders hit 25+ homeruns. When was the last time the Mets had that kind of production ?

Good found. I am glad Mets gave him another chance. At the same time, I'd like to see Conforto and Nimmo more this season

I didnt know this about Jose Reyes :smh: until right now
http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/mets/jose-reyes-better-dad-love-child-article-1.2999473

Shameful on multiple levels. Reminds me of Bart Colon last year getting sued for the same.

Reyes is the Mets all-time leader in Triples and stolen bases.
2nd all-time in doubles
3rd all-time in hit
18th all time in Home Runs (89)

It's so tough to hear about Reyes incidents. This guy is my all time favorite Met. After hearing everything, I had a difficult time to root for him or not. I decided not to wear Jose Reyes jersey anymore. I hid it somewhere in my basement. I just hope Reyes redeems

Duda is the all-time Mets leader in hit by pitch

Interesting! Mike Piazza isn't on the list?

Is it just me or Wheeler's pitching mechanic looks completely different?

His velocity looks great but his location needs improvement

Haven't seen enough to tell whether he has changed mechanics. His location has always been an issue, but man, when he's on!! Thor still the best pitcher we have, but I would love it if this became a healthy competition all year with the staff.

Agreed. I know his location has always been issues

Former Mets player/manager Dallas Green has passed away today

Upon further review, that Strawberry Jersey is fake so Im not copping.

On another note, heres an article about Cespedes clearing the air and stating his #1 goal.

http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/19017683/wants-ring

I think him finally locked in for 4 years with a team and a city that he likes, we will see a more focused and determined Yo. Different people have mentioned how Yo is in better shape than he's ever been right now.

I bought an alternate Dwight Gooden's 1986 practice jersey a year ago

It looks neat and comfortable

Right now, Mets gears shop offer free two-day shipment (over $50)

I am glad we got Yo back. Yo is becoming one of my favorite all time Mets

I am impressed with results from Wheeler and Harvey lately

Just got my tickets for my first of (hopefully) many games this year.
April 22nd.

Me 2, Yo is def one of my favs. I hope he has a career year, MVP caliber.
It would be great if our pitching staff could be healthy and effective the majority of the season. Theres so much potential.
I need a better deal than free 2 day shipping. Those Jerseys arent cheap

April 22nd.

I downloaded a new app called SeatGeek and they have some good prices for all types of venues (music&sports). They had some cheap mets tickets. I want to go to more games this season. Only went to 2 or 3 last year.

Speaking on Yo

He made a decent catch the other day.................

Duda hit a 3-run dinger yesterday.........

I look at our team on paper, we should be crushing the ball this coming season. But I think we also need to be able to bunt and steal a few bases. If we can play small ball as well as crush it like we have in the past 2 seasons......:x :smokin

Thanks. Ill check that app out.

Cheap seats for that game were like $15. I honestly don't even go to my seats in Citi Field. I usually go back and forth between Big Apple Brew and Shea bridge.
