Terry is good for costing the team one loss on a weekly basis. 6th inning was handled as poorly as can be
 
Gsellman has at least looked like his old self the past few starts, hopefully he can keep it up.

Will also be nice to have Lugo, Matz, and Céspedes back next week. Gsellman may be sent to the pen, unfortunately Harvey would never agree to such a thing.

Ever since DeGrom was pushed in that 9 inning outing a few weeks ago, he has lost all of his command. Fatigue is a factor.

Cabrera looks shot at SS. You can't convince me that Walkers deal was a good one. Way overpriced coming off back surgery, and he has terrible range also. Defensive mess in the infield. Call ups are needed

I did not like Walkers contract, I agree 100% with you.
Paying Walker 17 mil for 1 year. While the Nationals are paying Murphy 37mil for 3 years.
Mets certainly low-balled Murphy.
We should let Walker walk at the end of this year and let TJ Rivera be our starting 2nd baseman. Between Rivera & Flores, we have 2nd base covered.

What's the obsession with Murphy? Get over it already. He wasn't Washington's first, second or even third choice.

Im not obsessed. He just came up in convo now because Neil Walker was brought up. Youre right about Murphy not being their first choice and yet look his batting stats. :lol:

Cespedes will probably be back in the next couple of weeks. I wouldn't even count on Noah coming back. This year is going to be a waste so no need to rush him if he's not ready.
 
If the Yankees are buyers, who can we sell them? Theyre probably looking for starting pitching. I wonder if they'd be interested in Harvey and what they'd give us.
 
In the rare case that the Mets & Yankees do a trade, you would get close to nothing for Harvey at this point. He's basically washed due to the surgeries.
 
Great game by Bruce (2 HR's) and Wheeler (7 IP and 1 Run)

Blevins with the bad inning but he cant be perfect all the time.

At least we got the W.
