🍎 OFFICIAL NEW YORK METS THREAD 🍎: @San Francisco 4/22-4/24

Montero and Wheeler are going to kill this pen, starters are not even going 5 innings outside of deGrom :smh:

Smoker seems to be tipping those changeups, granted he shouldn;t be throwing those ahead in the count vs a lefty (terrible pitch selection).

TJ is an everyday player, thought he would be the starting 2B, then the Mets gave Walker that terrible one year deal.

i felt similar about rivera.  i was hoping they give him a chance to play 2b every day.  walker could play the backup and ph duties, since he's a switch hitter.  who care how much he's paid.  better player should play.  maybe he'll turn it around like reyes is starting to, but how much longer could it go?

Harvey's a baby. Wants to live like a superstar but doesn't wanna consistently put in the effort to perform like one. We need him now more than ever and he's doing this **** smh

This is going to be a long, agonizing game.

Good short read on Harvey here.

I have no problem trading him. His heart&mind dont seem invested.

At this point, Harvey can kick rocks if he's not going to perform on the field anyway. We can put up with it if he's pitching like he was in 2013, but two major surgeries later and this is what you get.

Harvey has zero value right now.

Mets actually need him right now, I'm not a huge fan of his anymore but he needs to show up to the ballpark if that is the team policy.

I personally feel pitchers should do whatever they want the day before a start, but policy is policy

do whatever you want, but when your employer expects you at the office (or stadium) you better be there.

We def need a functional, compliant and competitive Harvey. Not a back sliding lazy turd

Walker Walkoff in the 9th!

Just make contact and see what happens :D

DeGrom racking up the K's once again.

Last season Noah was our ace. Looks like DeGrom will be our ace this season.

How did the Braves keep Maddux, Glavin and Smoltz healthy all those years? :smh:

they didn't throw very hard outside of smoltz maybe haha

Mets winning without relying only on HR's. TJ and Conforto putting in work. Rene Rivera is having a great run right now.

Great win last night

Wheeler looked great beside walk issues
He needs to watch the walks. Otherwise, good stuff.

Add reyes to that list.

TJ & Conforto are ever-day players. Those 2 should be starting every game.

Granderson was doing ok for about 2-3 games then continued his crapiness. Im glad hes gone after this season.
