Is not giving a tip bad

I personally feel like you dont have to tip regardless if you dont want to. And you dont have to tip 20% justbecuase i ordered an expensive meal.

My wife on the other hand disagrees, she actually waited tables as a lil side deal for bout 5 years or so. She told me that when they see people come in alone they automatically know they will get a crap tip so they dont serve them as well as a table of 2+.

I asked, so did they tip you bad she said 9x out of 10 yes. I said well maybe because you thought they werent gonna tip good so your crap service got you a crap tip.

Then i got in to it with her becuase i said just because we go out n total $100 does not mean you deserve $20 tip. If you gave me the same service as a $50 bill table why you get more just because my order was more.

Needless to say, whenever we go ou she's offering up 20% to the waiter/waitress almost regardless and i gotta talk her down when the service was bad. Shes better than me.
Same here . Even if service is terrible she wanna tip 15 percent . I'm like hell no. You need to earn that ****

I worked valet at a hospital in a pretty diverse city when I was still in school. There was also a self park option if you didn't want to valet your car. After seeing some of the stuff that went on...I will never valet my car anywhere.

8) Is the establishment paying enough for employees to partake in the goods or services they provide? If not.... that job shouldn't be long term. find somewhere else to work.

9) If I offended anyone, see #1.

This **** happend just last night

1st waitress was acting all "whatever" when we walked into the joint.

2nd waitress copped an attitude because my pops couldn't understand all the combinations (apparently 4+) of pasta meals they offered so she didn't bother to explain it. She said "okay let me know when you're ready" and walked away.

Sitting there we noticed this big fat white dude with his buddy raising his voice as he said something about "now we got Mexicans eating Italian" and something about Donald Trump. He chilled after he noticed he was getting mean mugged. Funny thing is the whole kitchen was Mexican cooks and waiters

Anyway, the point is that both waitresses were lazy imbeciles and they got zero tip. **** it.

Bruh all you have to do is be courteous, write down orders, and take **** back and forth. Why are so many ****** at it? It's hard work when it gets busy, but it's still really ******* simple.

Gettin' caught up in stereotypes and thinkin' "ain't no need to do my job right, they ain't tippin' anyway". Helluva circle
How do these threads ALWAYS do numbers?
Some people geek at the opportunity to call folks broke

That's the thing, are the people they stereotype as bad tippers that way because they decidedly gave them bad service?

OP didn't tip.

Zik low key tries to call everyone a racist for bashing non tippers.

Wavy Daddy avoids all the shots thrown his way.

Good question.
Wondering if that played a part in us getting crappy service. My pops is a generous tipper too so they really goofed if that was the case.

The world will never know, but once you give terrible service you release the pressure from the customer to be good tippers.

Nah the waitress deserved to get played, but you did make a big deal over keeping your bill separate from your mans...ya should have just split it even just to save the awkwardness...nobody appreciates that one dude asking for an itemized bill at the table.

Na **** that I'm not splitting the bill even with my boys if I ordered 2 things and they pounding drinks.

Y'all some weirdos messing up the dining game. I just had the opposite of this happen to me not too long ago. Had my waitress ask me if I wanted separate checks when I asked for the bill after dinner with my girl. I was insulted, but I have thicker skin than OP. Paid with cash and tipped her $40.

She disrespected you and you overpaid her. She won
