Is not giving a tip bad

Waitress most likely expected nothing from you to begin with. People that go out with friends and barely order anything aren't ideal guests anyway. Your friends were spending money not you. Low bill = little or no tip, usually. So in essence you literally are not worth her time. And you did nothing but confirm what she already thought of you from the jump.

Nah the waitress deserved to get played, but you did make a big deal over keeping your bill separate from your mans...ya should have just split it even just to save the awkwardness...nobody appreciates that one dude asking for an itemized bill at the table.

:smh:

Most already have gratuity on the bill if your not paying attention :smh:

I do pay attention. You're not. Please comprehend bruh. The rates are there on the receipt but youre not forced to pay it . Im saying eventually it'll be included with the total

You tip for good/outstanding service. I'm not rewarding anyone for subpar service, especially when they're making a slight against my character. Miss me with that "all they make is ___" stuff. That's supposed to be the motivator for them to do well on their job.

I tip, but I'm not giving money away for the hell of it.

Lot of sensitive thugs in here.
"Ooohhhh...she called me cheap"

Let's face it, a lot of you lowlife cats look for any reason to not leave a tip.
Ol she didn't make eye contact with me so she don't get a tip type of dudes...

Reminds me of the last tip thread where the guy ordered a bunch of food, then saw the bill was high, so he didn't leave a tip. Saying "they already got enough money from me" :smh:

Real talk, if I know I only got a drink and an appetizer I wouldn't have been stressing a separate check.
Would've dropped that 20 to my homies and dared them to ask me to split it 3 ways.

I wouldn't have put myself in the position to get sonned.
He did it to himself with his little 16 dollar bill he was stressing.

You do realize what gratuity means right? Gratuity is tip already priced in, regardless if you want to tip or not, some restaurants will include x% automatic gratuity for x amount of people in a party. In lots of cities/restaurants outside of yours, places have had it included forever. Not sure why you think your city has the same rules as everywhere else and are talking down on dude :rolleyes

Nah, bump that. Son wanted his bill separate. I rarely carry cash so I ask for a separate bill as well so there's no confusion.

Sad thing is, this country has conditioned us to partially pay the server's salary by both patronizing the place AND tipping instead of the owners paying them a better wage.

I have a homie who works at a concert venue and he says 100% of the time there's a rap/hip hop show, he makes no tips working the bar but hundreds every other day, crazy. I guess the rap/hip hop culture is to not tip? Not sure why it never fails but I find it hilarious. I know NT listens to this genre more than anything, maybe this is why NT doesn't tip?
Did a kanye ever diss tipping? [emoji]129300[/emoji]
