Back when I was gettin' em, hair cut was $15, always paid $20. Never considered the math, always just rounded up. Last time I got cut out here the cut was $20 and I don't even remember tippin'

Haircut used to be $12 for me and I'd give my barber a 20 and take back 5.
He raised the price to 15 and I still take back 5

Barber's are a great example of what I'm talking about when I say tipping should be done away with.
Cuts ranging from $10 to $15 with no tip weren't enough so instead of begging for a tip or spreading sob stories about how little they make a month or ******* up your hair cuz they know you won't tip, they adjusted their prices. It's common sense.
I know it's only a matter of time before barbershops around the way are all charging $20 for cuts and $25 for tapers like them salons do.

I use to stick to skin fades until I transitioned to Caesars and it was always $10 to the raise to $12. Got a taper once and it was $12-$15.

My barber has yet to up my price, been with him for years since they were charging 10$ a shapeup, now they are 20$+ for shapeups, 25$ for a cut, 30$ for full cut and beard, etc yet I'm still paying 10$ for my shapeup including beard, why? That's because I alsways tip my man between 5-10$ From the beginning.

Cheap ***** didn't tip, so they adjusted their prices and included their own tip, don't eem blame them.
How much you think those hipster barbershops in the city here in NY be charging....I remember I would go there once a month for a legit styled cut and that **** was 50$ even then I still tipped 10$

I avoid hipsters altogether, barbershop or not. To keep it 100 i fw my Caribbean and African barbers. In my experience theyve done the best job. My barber charges 15 for cut and beard. I hit him with a 20 every time cuz its hard finding a good barber.

You dudes expecting barbers to charge 10$ a cut forever when everything around them increases....
I started paying what he used to charge and blessed him with at least 5$ tip, in turn he will to this day put me ahead of other dudes, offer me a drink, set me up with an appointment, etc....time went by, rent went up, cost of equipment did too, his rates increased, but mines remained the same...not sure what you missing.
