I have travelled to Russian and some Eastern European countries (not Ukraine) and what I've learned living in here was confirmed over there by experiencing it; It's not the people that hate one another its the governments telling its citizens to hate another nation's peoples.
They commute to work, wanna provide for their families. They don't want nor like this fear and hate mongering brought on by the television. conversations start and faces light up knowing you're a visitor being open minded enough to travel and soak in different cultures and ways of life
