Does NickFolarin want to be a Lion fan again?

  • Yes, too bad he can't go back

  • No, he will wear his Bortles jersey with pride (but really shame)

last time I checked vick is a once in a lifetime talent, while alex smith is not.

being one of the most electrifying players to ever play the sport > an average, noodle arm QB who can barely throw for 300 yards.

you can't be serious.

they both equal zero superbowls tho, and one caused a PR nightmare

what does any of that have to do with his talents?

Well the situation I purposed was knowing what we know if you're building a franchise you're taking Smith. I didnt say anything about their talents.

rings are really the end all be all to how y'all judge players?

Mike Vick having 0 rings should not be something that takes away from his individual accomplishments and how he played the game.

Last time I checked this is a team sport, rings are  team  success.

Is trent dilfer a better QB than Vick, Marino, Newton and others because he has a ring? **** no.

Nobody in here is saying Vick is the greatest QB ever, most probably wouldn't even have him in a list of top 10-15.

We are praising vick because of how he changed the game, the talent he possessed, and how electrifying he was on the field.

Why y'all aren't understanding that concept is ******* mind boggling.

What does having talent matter if you don't actually do anything with it?

well yeah individually he had a ok career. he was also a piece of **** tho
ahhh okay.

now we see the root of the discussion.

this could've been said earlier.. Instead of caping for ******* alex smith. Alex smith of all QB's.

I'm not caping. Someone else brought up Smith, all I said was knowing what we know you're not drafting Vick over Smith. That's facts.

Wat?

If you're taking everything into account on and off field you can't do it. It may not be relevant to the main conversation tho.

Oh ok. I still disagree but I can see why someone would think that way.

its 2 different conversations papi. if we are talking accolades, vick achieved some that i mentioned earlier. he didnt win a ring and played in 1 nfccg, broke some records, made jaw dropping plays and went to a few pro bowls. did he maximize his talents? no. did he have once in a generation talents for a running qb (canon arm, speed, insane cuts at full speed, etc.)? yes.

plus he introduced us to the goat fit with a mike vick jersey and olympics jordans.

In the grand scheme of things, Mike Vick wasn't a good quarterback. Electrifying at times, but that was about it.

Calling him football's Vince Carter is an insult to Vince Carter (who will be a HOFer.)
