Does NickFolarin want to be a Lion fan again?

  • Yes, too bad he can't go back

  • No, he will wear his Bortles jersey with pride (but really shame)

The changes at receiver haven’t altered Jamison Crowder's expectations for what the Washington ******** offense can accomplish this season.

“It can still be very explosive, like the previous years I’ve been here,” Crowder said via conference call. “Pryor put up big numbers with the Browns, and Doctson, everyone is anxious to see what he brings to the table. I have faith in him that he’ll be a huge weapon, and Jordan Reed and [tight end] Vernon Davis. The offense can still be explosive, if not more than it was last year.”

The ******** offense ranked third in yards per game, but 11th in points in 2016. So there’s plenty of room for improvement, especially in the red zone where the ******** ranked 30th. Pryor will give the ******** a different sort of look as a big, athletic target at 6-foot-4. Doctson, too, is taller at 6-foot-2, and can jump. He just has to prove he can stay healthy after his Achilles' issues cost him 14 games last year -- and that he can contribute. Crowder likely will play outside in the ********' two-receiver set and in the slot when they use three.

That height will help our redzone offense tremendously. HTTR

loses one of the most explosive receivers in the game when healthy.

believes the skins offense can still be explosive.

makes sense

If Pryor could put up numbers with no QB or other offensive players that warranted attention from a defense then he'll replace Jackson just fine. Not in the same way but production wise we're fine.

Some believe that Pryor might be a 'looter in a riot'

Kinda like Jordan Matthews with us, his numbers are far better than they should be because someone had to get the ball thrown at them

With a offense as bad as Cleveland I'd like to think most defensive coordinators came into the game with a game plan to stop the only good player they had.

Washington has a much better QB and Line then Cleveland not to mention Crowder and Reed who must be accounted for. I expect a big season from Pryor.

I could definitely see that but Pryor, Crowder, Doctson and Reed should still be a pretty damn good group to throw to.

Pryor disappeared in games last year and wasn't liked by teammates and opponents. I'm not sure what to expect from him and he's going to another dysfunctional franchise and a better division that's more competitive.

Pryor is on a one year deal also. If he wants a truck to back up to his house he better maintain his production from last season.

WR Quincy Enunwa:  “It feels great. I’ve been working hard [LAST YEAR I DIDN’T WORK HARD] and I’ve been eager to get back. I think any time you’re away for a long period of time, it creates that itch to get back out here [I WAS SICK OF MY COACHES AND TEAMMATES AND NEEDED TO GET AWAY FROM THEM], work with the guys, see all of the new faces [THANK GOD WE GOT RID OF SOME OF THE USELESS BUMS WE HAD LAST SEASON] and get this season started.”

RB Matt Forté:  “I’m definitely excited to be back to see the guys and get back to work. Like every year, we have a lot to prove [BECAUSE OUR PRIOR RECORD REMAINS AN UNBROKEN STRING OF HUMILIATING FAILURES]. I am excited to be here.”

QB Josh McCown:  “It’s always good to get back started especially when you are coming to a new team [I CARRY THE WEIGHT OF MY FAILURES WITH ME]. It’s good to meet everyone and get acclimated [I HOPE MY FAILURES WILL MESH WITH THE FAILURES OF MY NEW TEAMMATES]. But It’s the first day in a long process and [NOTHING WILL GET BETTER] I’m excited to be part of it.”

QB Bryce Petty:  “I’m excited on all fronts. It’s always good to get some time away [WHAT A RELIEF IT WAS TO BE AWAY FROM THIS PLACE FOR THREE MONTHS], but then you come back in the building and see old faces and see the guys. It’s the kind of adrenaline [IT’S ALL DOWNHILL FROM HERE] you don’t get anywhere else.”

Team was 1-15, not sure if defenses really cared THAT much

He was 12th in targets with: 140

27th in receptions with: 77

22nd in yards with: 1,007

Tied for 48th in TDs with: 4

His targets will go down in 2017 but the quality of the passes being thrown to him will be better. I'm not worried. Getting to the redzone wasn't a problem. Finishing was. The hope is he helps us finish drives with TDs.
