Does NickFolarin want to be a Lion fan again?

  • Yes, too bad he can't go back

  • No, he will wear his Bortles jersey with pride (but really shame)

Never forget.
I constantly remind this one pats fan I know about this game.. dude was ready to sell the farm after this game.. went off on a whole tirade about fire hoodie and trade off certain folks

whenever dude attempts to get on his high horse about some shh or talk about things he only barely understands (like the average joe).. gotta remind him of that game

The NFL is putting Alex Smith and the Chiefs on the nationally televised opening football game of the season against the Super Bowl champs? Probably at New England? What kind of dumb *** schedule making is that?
Really didn't have a choice, the 3 best opponents that the Patriots play home that aren't division/conference rivals are the Falcons, Panthers, and Chiefs.

The Falcons make sense from a Superbowl rematch perspective but they want the Falcons to open up the season home in their new stadium and the panthers are coming off a bad season and played in the opener last year. So hence why its probably going to be the Chiefs.

I think on the field they had a lot in common.. undersized for their position.. incredible speed and quickness.. injuries because of their styles of play

blatant inefficiencies in their styles of play.. and then you have a disregard by both to try to change/confirm.. then you have the practice thing for AI and the playbook issues with vick
I guess stylistically you could say that.  But from a skill level perspective Vick was never elite and Iverson certainly was.

certainly.. just talking stylistically..

like the point I was making yesterday about running styles and steve young being more vick than rg3 could ever hope to be.. or tyrod tyler fitting that mold

if I had to compare players to VC it would be kaep or cunningham

So we're just continuing to ride this emotional rollercoaster today huh?

Another odd quirk of RG3's rookie season is that it looked a lot like what Peak Michael Vick should have been.

For VC comparisons, I would think of a QB who was genuinely very good out of the gates but faded away/plateaued because his heart wasn't totally in it to be a leader among other things.  Went on to have a good but not great career.  Jay Cutler might be too harsh.  Maybe McNabb?  Matt Stafford?  Culpepper?

Here Are The 8 NFL Owners Who Donated to Trump’s Inauguration

It’s no secret that several NFL owners were vocal supporters of Donald Trump while he was running for office, so it should be of no surprise that these owners collectively donated $7.25 million to help finance an extravagant inauguration for him when he won the office of the President. This informatiom was provided FEC documents that were filed on Wednesday according to The Daily Beast.

The first NFL owner that should come to mind that would donate to anything Trump is Patriots owner Robert Kraft. Kraft says he formed a friendship with Trump when his wife Martha died and Trump called him often to make sure he was ok. In return Trump was blessed with Kraft’s full support during his campaign and a $1 million donation from Kraft toward his inauguration.

The next Trump contributor is Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. Jones donated another million to the Trump inauguration. Also, ******** owner Dan Snyder tossed another milli Trump’s way for the inauguration. He also made it a point to attend the inaugural ball.

Jets owner Woody Johnson wasn’t going to miss the opportunity to give his pal Trump money for the inauguration to the tune of another million dollars. Trump then made it rain on Johnson political style by appointing him the ambassador to Great Britain.

Texans owner Bob McNair also gave $1 million, and Rams owner Stan Kroenke gave another million. Bucs owner Ed Glazer went a little less with $250K, but the last owner will surprise you the most because of some of Trump’s campaign promises.

The last NFL owner that donated to Trump’s inauguration is Jags owner Shahid Khan. Khan avidly defended Trump during his presidential campaign but became very vocally critical of Trump, especially after his immigration ban.

Sorry Mr. Khan that Trump decided to do what he promised he would do. Can’t back track now.

Trump amassed $107 million in donations total for his inauguration committee, which doubled the record set by President Obama in 2009.
