2023 Official MLB Season Thread

Going to be a long year for SF.

I still don't understand their leadoff choices.

Gorky been ice cold but tonight, he leaves the bases loaded in the 2nd with popfly to C, then he gets the same ball from Lamb with bases loaded and clears them for AZ by misplaying it

It should be Nunez. The last game I watched, he was batting 6th smh..

No question it should be Nunez.

Span is concussed right now and Enoon is still batting 6th while Gorky can't touch 1b unless he skips over it on his way to the dugout from the OF.

If Marrero isn't DFA'd by tomorrow morning I'm convinced Bobby Evans and Sabean are drunk

Edit: Make that Hernandez too, why these guys think these dudes are actually major league players is beyond me. We got Kelby Tomlinson and Austin Slater rotting in the minors for these two bums.

Diamondbacks could be sneaky good this season
I wouldn't even call it Sneaky.

What is their BP looking like this year?

Stats show them middle of the Majors but this is the first game I've seen, and it's looking similar to the end of last Season, which was trash.

We will see if their pitching keeps up for the season
Last season their pitching was just awful imo

There is no way that pitching holds up in that ballpark, same with colorado. It's a two team race with LA winning by 10 plus games in the division.

I seen strange things happen within the division the past decade and a half
That run to the World Series by the Rockies was amazing.
