I hate to defend Posey like this, but it seemed like at that point, he was real tired of Strickland's petty bs.
It's a close game, only losing by 2, and you decide to bean the best hitter of the other team.
I would still probably have stepped in front of Harper, but I can see why Posey was at first passive.

Agree or not, you do not let your pitcher face hands, period. Harper has to go thru the catcher to get to your pitcher, EVERY TIME.

Strickland may be wrong, Posey surely knows that, but you do NOT show up your pitcher like that.

Posey not gonna get away with that in the clubhouse. The others will see it just as I did.

I agree with you, but I'm just saying it seems like Posey only let his pitcher get exposed because Strickland does have a reputation of being a hothead.
If it was Bumgarner or Cueto, it would have been a different story.
