Have you met anyone famous? Who is nice? Who is a jerk?

The more I read this thread the more I remember having encounters with celebrities. I remember one time I was walking to work and I saw Jay Bilas walking up 5th Av with his wife. I was around the time of the NBA draft. We almost bumped into each other. I see this tall dude, I stopped because I didn't want to walk into him, I look up and see Bilas. He looked down at me with a sneer type of look . I used to work at Niketown and saw Matt Kemp chillin in the store. I was by the elevator and dude was on the 4th floor chillin over the rail. I look over at him and dude is just staring at me for no reason. It was weird.

Met Amanda Seales on a flight from Abu Dhabi in 2015. Honestly never heard of her and didn't know who she was. Sat next to her for the entire flight while she played on her phone. Was actually very pretty but she was dressed down and bummed out. Even asked her if she had a man (at the time) she said no! lol. Too bad for me as I wasn't single otherwise I'd would have tried to get myself in there. Very thorough sista, was droppin some knowledge in her convo.

Also didn't actually "meet" but had some cross my path.

Allen Iverson at TGIF in Philly back in his wild days. Saw him in the parking lot with his boys.

Black Thought in King of Prussia Mall waaaaaaay back in the late 90's. Was with his girl and carrying a dozen bags, guess he was trickin on her that day.

Crossed paths with Kim Kardashian (Ray-J era) in SF. Didn't know she was that short.

Gave a head nod to both Tony Parker and Manu Ginolbli in Sacramento. They both nodded back, but TP kept staring at my GF

Snoop Dogg and E-40 eating at Fresh Choice.

CC Sabathia at a Safeway.

Seth Curry at a farmers market lol.

Corey Maggette at Target.

Mike Tyson- I was a kid he was cool tho, real nice dude.

50 Cent/ G-Unit/Ma$e/ mobb deep/m.o.p-

All mad cool, I saw their buses outside a hotel and saw Who Kidd go in the hotel so I went in too, didn't see anybody so I went to the lil magazine rack and was flipping thru a xxl, when some dude came up and grabbed one too. Looked over and saw that he had on a CRAZY yellow diamond watch I look up and it's Ma$e, he was super cool we chopped it up while he waited for everyone else. They came down stairs and were all mad cool I kicked it with young buck on his bus for a minute, they all were waiting for 50. He came down & they kind of rushed him on the bus because people were showing up, I had his book in the car tho so I showed him and he let me up on the bus and signed it he was mad chill. Oh yea his bodyguard was one of the biggest people I've ever seen and I'm 6'3.

Gave dap to Nas, co-worker knew him from back in the day, they really was reminiscing for a bit talking about mutual people they both knew, that was dope to see

I met Big Sean before he got really famous; Dude was hella cool. Very nice and appreciative that I listened to his music. He's incredibly short and little . . .but dude's head is GIANT!

Also, I met Big Boi and he was also very cool. Of course I told him how much I appreciated Outkast. Also, this was around the release of Sir Lucious Leftfoot; I told him I listen to General Patton everyday when I wake up to get after the day and he responded, "Make you wanna beat somebody ***, huh? I hit him with a, "BOI Stooop," and he died laughing. Very cool moment.

Jessica Alba is real petite in person. Saw her at Disneyland with her kids.

She still fine, though

A lot of celebrity women are short/small as Hell in person.  I saw Taraji Henson working out at Runyon Canyon a couple years ago, and she's sooo small.

though.  Met Tia Mowry this weekend.  She's pretty cool.

Yeah I saw Hillary Swank around the Million Dollar Baby buzz at the airport and she was tiny. She was dolo and looked scared as hell though.

I saw Rasheed Wallace at flight club. he was an a hole. not surprising i guess. :smh:

- when I was a kid I was in San Antonio for my sisters music competition and the t wolves and spurs are playing and the kings are in town I guess. My mom and sister get off the elevator and Tim Duncan gets off too I'm like :wow:. They had no idea . Like 20 mins later Marbury and KG walk by and that was the first and only time I ever asked for an autograph they were my favorites. I was wearing an And1 t-shirt so Steph signed my shirt. KG kept it moving . Apparently Vlade Divac was signing autographs at the bar on napkins too but I didn't care.

-Almost every summer I went to NYC as a kid. Flash forward some years I started hanging out in Coney Island. This was like 03 and Sebastian Telfair is always chillin in the pjs w/ everybody after his morning workouts. One day he starts yappin about how cold Stephon is but how much he hates him. Ironically Stephon and his younger bro Zack show up that day. They were yelling up to his window to come down but he was no where to be seen lmao.

- Bumped into lil Wayne and his crew at a rockets game in like 04. My homie yelled out weezy baby they just stone faced and kept it moving .

- Used to work at Target outside of Dallas. Saw Deron Williams when he was still playing for the Jazz. My co workers and I helped him carry a bunch of stuff to his whip. Him and his homie were cool cracking jokes and even tipped us.

- I had a homie who worked at Radio Shack back in the day. I went to go pick him up and Tracy Mcgrady was circling the parking lot lmao. My homie said he'd been doing this for a minute and it was awkward af. We just assumed he was looking for his weed man

There's more but I gotta think first

Was on the same flight with Evander Holyfield & dan Majerle. Gave the head nod to evander cuz everyone was on his **** and complimented dan cuz he had some bad *** af1's (custom made purple)

Before Chainsmokers were a thing, I was friends with Drew. He was always just the quiet frat bro who loved music. Real chill humble guy to this day. He booked Wiz and Curren$y for $3k at his frat in 2009. I was called upon and ended up rolling a fat blunt in a room with just him Wiz, and Curren$y before the show. Went to pass it to Wiz and Curren$y and they wouldn't hit it cuz they were on the tobacco free movement. It was really awkward for a few minutes. These dudes showed up and dry and I was facing an L in front of them  I bit it in half and gave it to them. They gutted and rolled some js up and we were back in action :pimp:

That's really my only notable encounter but if I had to meet anyone Curren$y would be at the top of the list so I'll always remember and appreciate being able to sit down and blaze one with him.

My sister is close friends with Jon Jones/Arthur Jones so I've met them through her. Played basketball with Chandler Jones growing up and it's crazy how successful that whole family has become.

Met a bunch of IG thots/models and other people who could be considered "famous" by NT standards but they all seem like regular people to me. Can't remember ever being star struck.

Also I met Nelly and he is short as hell.. Kind of shocked me actually because I really did'nt expect it but he was a cool cat.

I went to this club back in 2002 and Nelly was in there, first time I saw like real gaudy Iced out jewelry.

Like it was dark as hell in the club but as soon as a little light hit his wrist, bah gawd. bling blaw

Lived in LA for a few years, ran into the following celebs.

Weeman - Ran into him walking around Westwood near UCLA. He was skating with some people. Cool Dude.
The dude that plays Healy from Orange is the New Black. Ran into him at a Big 5 in Culver City. He was buying some shoes for his son.
Fred Durst at Maggianos at the Grove. Dude was just eating by himself.
Keanu Reeves at the Prince in K-town. He was nice and said hello, but his friend that he was with said no pictures.
Chris O'dowd from Bridesmaids and It crowd. He was sitting right next to us and a group of friends. I said I was a fan and he said thanks.

Other encounters.

The Rock showed up to a screening of Hercules at Comic-Con. Talked to the crowd for a few minutes.
Ran into E-40 at Marshawn Lynch's football camp. Got a pic with 40 and Marshawn signed some stuff for us.
Saw Michael J. Fox at JFK. I had just got off a redeye flight and was waiting for my wife to finish using the bathroom. He zoomed by in a airport cart. By the time I realized it was him it was too late to take a picture.
Saw DJ Paul at a club in Vegas. I yelled "Three Six Mafia!!!" hella loud, dude looked at me like I was crazy.

Growing up in the same town as Bam, I have met a few of the jackass guys (Steve O, Knoxville) and some pro skaters (most notable would be Tony Hawk).  All cool, somewhat chill guys.

Dapped up Joe Budden.
Drove the Jet Life crew around when they came to a concert. Met Curren$y but mostly had Roddy and Cornerboy in the car.
Met Patrick Ewing.
Met the RiverMonsters guy and the Cupcake ladies.
Spoke to T-Boz over the phone, was a business convo, but she was an a-hole that didnt know her business.
Saw Bobby Jackson, old Kings guard at the airport.

I wonder what are some of y'all reactions are when meeting celebrities. Tampa, Florida is a hot place when to run into wrestlers.

I was like 14 and saw Chris Jericho reading a newspaper at an airport with headphones on and didn't bother him because I was a kid.

Saw him again when I was 20 in an airport but he was walking fast to the baggage claim or wherever he was heading and darted out.

Cousins met Batista and John Cena at an airport and got pics with him.

First time I met a celebrity that I ran up to and say something was Deron Williams, cool and relax guy. Still with the nets at the time. Was about to head to the elevator but caught him in time after seeing him walked by us. I was like to my bro. "That dude look exactly like Deron Williams. Ain't no way that's him." The fact that he had a hat on didn't help because I would've recognized that noodle head haircut he was rocking. Saw him, got pics of him with my bro and wished him luck on the season and me and my bro shook his hand.

Also saw Brandon Knight when he was playing with the Bucks still. Dude looked depressed. Ain't been the same ever since Deandre baptized him. Got a picture and wished him the best of luck, shook his hand too.

Saw Quincy Pondexter but who cares. Met all these guys at an airport, never on the streets. It was a Vegas airport and the USA team was practicing there or something, I don't know. A lot of ballers from high school and colleges were there.

I live in tampa and have personally met hulkamania 2 times and seen himes countless times. He owns a bar called hogan's beach.. I use to work at a Sushi bar and would see Bautista there almost every other weekend. Dude is huge no homo.. my cousin went to school with his daughter, he said he would see him all the time too.

Also back in middle school we had a substitute teacher that use to be a wrestler and trainer and that's how I met eddie guerrero, he would bring him around the school. Mad chill would play games with us and tell us stories about how it is in the ring..
