Wholefoods Thread

Only shop there when I'm cramped for time since they have one right by my gym and TJs is kind of out the way for me, just spent 35$ on a pack of ground turkey, ground meat, marinera sauce and a damn 8$ squash :x

Hot & cold bars are money, same w the $8 rotisserie chicken and sushi rolls. Also get those small bits of cheeses for like$3-4 ea if I'm in the mood for it.

Very rarely get actual groceries unless my reg spot runs out.

Need to build a Wegmans in Arlington already

I was there this morning. Got some raw sauerkraut and 2 packs of tempeh bacon. Also bought a gluten free vegan banana nut loaf from the bakery. The girl at the counter was asking me hella questions about what I do with these ingredients... even though 2 old dudes were behind me in line. Shorty caught the vapors. I love living and exuding a healthy lifestyle!

Nowadays it looks like their strategy is to get people to eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner there rather than grocery shop. It's a full blown food court. You can buy a ton of organic items at Walmart these days so I guess they're trying to corner the dining crowd. Beverages, bakery, hot/cold foods is where they're getting separation in da game.

Like everyone has said it's very over-priced.

Lucky for me I live within 5 miles of a Kroger, Sprouts, Trader Joes, Aldi's, and Tom Thumbs.

But I regularly shop at Trader Joe's and Kroger.

100% Grass Fed ground beef = The Best Burgers I ever made in my life.

I just buy Meats, Fruits, and Veggies from WF. I love their deli, I make some bangin Honey Turkey sandwiches.

To the iPhone users, they have an app to download with weekly sales and coupons. Just pull up the app and let them scan when you get to the register. The best is $5 off $20 worth of produce. Meats and Seafood are on sale a lot too.

whoa. gotta try this.

and 100% on the grass fed burgers :pimp:

Whole Food is dope.

Getting lit :smokin and doing grocery has never been better . At the one I used to frequent, they had live music, sushi bars, ridiculous beer selection, sport bar area and random summer time BBQ's on the weekend. I can easily spend an hour or two there. They allow Apple Pay too. These other fools don't know the importance of Apple pay lol.

I like Wegmans too. It is not on Whole Food's level, it is decent.

Love Whole Foods. I've been on a paleo diet for a few months and I pick up items I usually can't get anywhere else. The meat is usually decently priced with the $5 off $20 or 5.99 a lbs of grassfed beef. It's pretty pricey but I don't do all my shopping there.

I go there for the women **** is gold.

This, the women that both work and shop there, top notch.

That alone makes the trip worthwhile.

They also have products/brands that other stores do not carry.

My green tea alone I can't find anywhere else.

One I go to has a grill, a sports bar, a pizzeria, sushi bar, and their bakery section is better than most of the bakeries I've been to out here.

I only go to whole foods to hit up the bar, sometimes they'll have beers on tap that no one else has.

Shorty sounds like she has good taste. Don't write her off.

The downstairs bar in the Whole Foods in NYC Columbus Circle has great beers/food.

Before craft beer really exploded, WF bars were the place to go. Alamanac sours, barrel aged big bad baptest even hangar 24 barrel rolls were obtainable for $5 a 16oz for happy hour. They were practically giving the stuff away.

I've been to the WF in Kailua, HI and bar seemed legit, had some good beers on tap. Was great that they had a Poke' bar too.

WF's around me (seattle area) always attract some of the best looking women around. Trader Joe's does as well, hell even Chipotle. Any perceived 'heathly' joint around here usually does (not sure if this goes without saying in any decently populated city).
