1. She was fully aware of the magnitude and scope of calling a Black man "monkey" in Johannesburg, a city that is still recovering from the apartheid era.

2. The man had no right to shoot and kill this woman.

Both individuals are wrong.
 
They probably could have gone into the grocery store, explained the situation to the manager and had the groceries replaced at no charge, If only people were more civilized....
