Hit popular shows you never watched?

1st 3 or 4 seasons of Martin were good. After Tisha Campbell would be in separate scenes from Martin then ended up leaving, went downhill quick

True, good point. For me tho strictly from a humor standpoint and jokes i liked martin better, but fresh prince is still up there for me too.

Why are yall having such a hard time understanding exposure?

If a young man from French Lick, Indiana told me he never watched Fresh Prince, I would believe him and wouldn't bat an eye.

I am sure you know where I am going with that.

Yall love to act like race/culture doesn't matter, but it does.

Bruh im middle eastern...i enjoy seinfeld as much as i enjoy martin and fresh prince...

But thats exactly who was watching fresh prince check the ratings 15 million viewers

Go look at his gram norton appearance check gwenth paltrow and Bradley cooper rapping along to the theme song with a entire white british auidence in their forties doing the **** acapella

If you said martin or wayan bros i would see your point but not Fresh Prince middle America loved it

Im saying im asian.

Not too many asian characters and the ones that were around were "stereotypical"

Oh, I got you. Yea, I know what you mean man. It is sad honestly but what can we do?

But I won't sit here and act like I NEVER watched any "white shows."

Loved Full House
One Tree Hill
90210

But something about Seindfeld and Friends just didn't click with me. Maybe the fact that they were NY shows too LOL

That isn't my point.

In short, my point is if someone tells me they don't watch a show that they don't identify with, I don't question them with, "How could you not.........."

If u loved 90210 and dont like seinfeld i dont think your viewing preferences has anything to do with black people being in certain shows.

I think u just dont like seinfeld.

I have alot of black friends who dont like seinfeld

Yea, looking back on it, maybe it was just those two shows didn't look interesting to me.

I am going to give it a chance this weekend. I will watch an episode and report back.

Friends, no chance of me watching that though

I think the last show I watched on network TV was Prison Break. Gave The Following a chance, but it was terrible.

Not a big fan of tv shows on nbc, fox, abc, or CBS. Just can't get in to them.

Back in the day....loved Seinfeld and Martin. Watched FP, but it's not one of my favorites.

Now I'm wondering what non-mainstream society would say is the best sitcom.

Depends on the demographic. One group would say Martin or Fresh Prince, and another would say George Lopes.

I think Curb your Enthusiasm is hilarious yet I can't get into Seinfield, yet same writer (Larry David). Odd ain't it. Maybe becaus CYE is a lot more raunchy.

I only watched curb like two years ago. Although it is the same co-creator of Seinfeld the humor is drastically different, so it makes sense why you would like one and not the other. Being on HBO made it a plus because he got to cross the lines network TV wouldn't allow. Real talk, the introduction of "the Blacks" made this show even funnier. Leon and Larry David together is comedy gold.

Maybe yall dont know any white people but ive had white roommates that have turned on an episode of seinfeld my whole point is how do u go ur entire life never watching it...i didnt ask if u enjoyed it

In this scenario I'm the "white friend" trying to get my friends and family to watch Seinfeld back in the day,. I got my pops and step brother to convert. The rest of them wasn't feeling it or weren't willing to sacrifice Thursday night on FOX for some white boy show . Martin, Living single, NY undercover was the go to.

Just explained why I never watched it. It never looked interesting to me. Not sure how that is so hard for you to understand.

Upbringing and exposure has a lot to do with it. As I said before, there are plenty of folks in the hood that aren't interested in "mainstream TV" that haven't watched any Seindfeld and Friends either.

I totally get what you are saying. while trying to get people to give Seinfeld a chance some either didn't want to at all because it looked stupid to them or others just didn't like the comedy. No big deal, and it shouldn't be hard to understand.

It is a good thing TGIF, CW, UPN, and WB existed for us back in the day. We had options. Didn't need those other shows.

Nice try though

Is there anyone who doesnt watch sports?

I have a friend who doesnt

I don't. Save for the Superbowl but that's more for the festivities that surround it.

However, every now and then I'll go to a Wizards game because tickets are dirt cheap.

Only watch my home teams, olympics, and the world cup. Could care less about any other teams with all of the advertising and off the field drama in these leagues

Game of Thrones (I say I'm going to binge this every time a season ends and never start, just going to wait for the series to end at this point.)

Lost
Seinfield/Friends
The Game/Scandal etc
24/Prison Break
Office/Parks etc
I've never seen a CBS tv show ever outside of 60 mins.

It's a lot of **** I haven't seen, but the ones I get the "How Sway?!" Reaction are the Simpsons and Southpark. Simpsons been on my whole life prolly seen like 10 eps total, seen like 5 eps of Southpark. And I've had tv and cable my whole life, them shows just never interested me. Never seen a full ep of Family Guy neither.

For all those who want to binge GOT how do yall stsy away from spoilers its pretty much pop culture now to talk about the twists and turns

Damn The Simpsons is classic.

Frank Grimes episode was one of the realest.

"What's this? 'Extremely high voltage.' Well, I don't need safety gloves, 'cause I'm Homer Simp-!"

^ funny I was going to type that, I damn near know everything going on on GOT without seeing an ep, because everyone I know watches it and it's always trending on Twitter.

Same with Scandal, Greys and those a-like, don't watch them neither, but kinda know the story just off chatter.
