Hit popular shows you never watched?

You've never watched SVU??? Or are you just talking about Criminal Intent?
Any show with law/order in the title has not been watched by me.

All I know is that dun dun sound effect.

GoT was awful to me. Tried watching the first episode a good 3-4 times over the span of a year and couldn't finish it. Can't really get into that medieval **** for some reason.

You don't like history-inspired shows?

GOT is lit.

Never watched a single second of Breaking Bad or Sons of Anarchy
I thought SOA season 1-4 was trash. I didn't watch it for 2 years.
Later, I was urged to watch season 5 and it was so much better.
Seasons 5-7 were excellent. I was amazed that I was watching the same show I thought was trash.

Really? I think most thought soa got worse. The last 2-3 seasons it got so ridiculously stupid.

I thought SOA started off bad and then progressed really well...then Sutter destroyed the series with that crap ending.

The last season he just made it a murder fetish show.

Nah last two seasons of soa were OD. Seems like they couldn't come up with a creative way to end the show.

Never watched a Full Episode of

Seinfeld
Friends

Never watched a minute of

Sopranos
Big Bang
Survivor
Curb

Now that I think about it, I look on most your lists.... Damn I really don't watch much TV....

Most these shows I have never laid eyes on.

Mainly because either I was young... Or didn't have cable/ premium channels at the time...

Prison Break
Game of Thrones (waiting for it to be all over to binge watch)
The Walking Dead (finally caught up to this season)
Friends
24
Westworld (but will watch)
American Horror Story
CSI
Bones

Dragon ball z.

Saw a few episodes back in the day when cats were rocking the shirts.

I was good

Im convinced a lot of people in here just dont own a TV.

Seinfeld - just can't get into it, usually catch re-runs when channel surfing. maybe if I start from day 0
The Wire - Keep hearing its the greatest show ever made but can't get interested
Any show about cops/feds/CIA/government - These agencies are corrupt to the bone, could care less about a show that makes them look like goody goody heroes who always get the (right) bad guy or care so much about the people.
Walking Dead - dropped this after season 6 for numerous reasons. Not interested in resuming.

I'm a huge Seinfeld fan since '96, started watching reruns on the WB by accident and loved it ever since. Don't start from the pilot, Seinfeld didn't hit is stride until Season 4. Even then it wasn't all that but they had some really hilarious episodes. The first three seasons were meh, as a fan I watched them to say I did but it wasn't as funny as the later seasons.

If you have hulu look for S4 ep 17 "The Outing" and ep 11 "The Contest". They don't disappoint. If you like them then move on from there or skip around between seasons 4-9. Its a show about nothing so you won't be missing anything if you watch Season 7 before season 5 and so on. At best you won't catch a line or two that is a callback to a previous episode or character, but that won't ruin anything for you. Only real fans get a kick out of stuff like that.

I've never seen:
1. Prison Break
2. 24
3. DBz

Basing my reply off of your seinfeld input.

Season 1 of Prison Break is only worth watching. I watched 11 episodes in one sitting because it was that interesting.

Don't watch anymore seasons after season 1.

Seinfeld is probably the best sitcom of all time. Much better and funnier than Friends.
I watched Seinfeld in the 90's and reruns a few years ago. Holds up masterfully.

Never watched more than 2 episodes of lost.
Never seen a single episode of the wire
Those are probably the most popular I get crap for

Best, based on what? What is accepted by MAINSTREAM society?

And I'm in agreement that Seinfeld is the best sitcom of all time. Nothing really comes close. Everything else is kinda good and can be in the same category. Seinfeld was transcendent.

I won't even get into this #CulturalDifferences debate. But take "Da Census" of anyone that thinks Seinfeld is the Best of All time and you will see a common thing.

Seinfeld is definitely up there as one of the best sitcoms, definitely on my list.

I'm a black west indian, nothing common about me. I've watched Martin, living single, fresh prince all of it. To this day I can still sit and watch Seinfeld and laugh like it is my first time seeing the episode.

I guess the biggest question is how are the shows being judged? Everyone has an opinion, and you can't fault someone for having one. What criteria is being used to determine best?
