Looks a little more runnerish which is cool, but the heavy laces wrapping the foot just looks too similar to the 9 Elite for me.
I'd be more interested if the laces were being used differently (like to contain the foot in lieu of rigid fuse under the knit). But since the thick Flywire cables on the 9 Elite were kinda for show, I doubt this will be much different.

They're getting lazy at Nike. Shouldn't have used the same sole of the 9. I really like the upper but the sole kills it.

The back part reminds me of those nike shoes in the 90s where they had a strap/spat that was removable, and you could buy different colors. I forgot what they were called, but I had those with a couple different spats.

I think these look pretty good. I'm ok with the design not being a big change as long as they fix lockdown/support. I really like the cushion setup but couldn't go full force in the 9s while playing because of the fit/lockdown, so I had to return them. Fingers crossed the X fixes that.
