Thought the 6s were University Blue instead of University Red. There is a thread that changed that once it was found out.

By going to all the spots in the mall and seeing what they had on the wall/floor. In 2001, I would go to the Glendale Galleria and the BC3s were just sitting on the wall. 
 
I've never heard of anyone you named, OP. I'm lacking on my shoelebrity knowledge. I need to do my homework on these dudes, so I can give them all the love, worship and respect they deserve.

THIS!!! I can remember vividly going to Borders or Barnes & Noble for the newest issue of Slam and turning to the Kicks section first!!! Then it got better with the Kicks standalone yearly issue. Sometimes, we would even get small catalogs from stores that would show upcoming shoes. Never forget receiving a mini catalog from Footaction way back (maybe 2000 or 2001). And in it was the 1st retro of the Scream Green Huaraches!! I literally freaked out!!! The date on the picture was a month​ from when I got it. Needless to say, I went to my closest one and grabbed two pairs when that day came! This is all we had to go on before internet and chat forums and social media. Man I miss those times!!! There were a handful of em back then, EKIN702/AM2K3 undeniably being #1
...reliable product info 6-8 months out, often with official pics taken directly from Nikes intranet :smokin

But make no mistake, his cryptic posts kept many NT'ers both fascinated and frustrated...

Knowing too far in advance pisses me off. Seems like J's the only shoes you know releasing for damn near a year in advance, at that point I just want the shoes already. I honestly think the turn around is too long.

There's certain models that we should know won't release on Black Friday,1s and 11s especially. Djfolk said this BF will be something new entirely

I could see an XI one day if they are planning to drop 2 og colorways in the same year. Maybe if we ever get the year of the XI this will actually happen.
 
Someone went to a Nike store in Florida and saw a black infrared 6 with Nike air on it. I'll try to find the video.
 
They should just go back to how they did it in the early years of the millennium: always a black/red shoe near the end of the year.



Would people get tired of that after a while? I don't see anyone throwing fits over 9 straight Christmases of XIs.

I can''t find the video. Someone went to a MASSIVE nike store, idk if florida and it was framed in a glass case on the upper level, along with others. I'm really sorry I can;t find it, but this might help some of you!

Nike Chicago has the shoes in your avi (infrared Nike air not black) in a display case on the second floor, not sure if that's what you're talking about. They have had it for a few years now though.
