Wrestling Thread June 1st-4th/Post Extreme Rules Discussion

yall do it for wwe

triple the dumb **** tna does but it gets a pass cuz your a fan of the wwe

Where have I given them a pass? I call them out on their crap all the time. Y'all are wild. Anytime someone doesn't fully agree or has a slightly different opinion you pull the WWE mark card. I didn't wanna see a bunch of 40-50 year olds washing younger talent in the WWE so you think I was excited to see a bunch of middle age, passed their prime WWE and WCW guys kicking the **** out of guys like Petey Williams and AJ in an NWO rehash? You know what I do when I don't like the dumb **** WWE does? I don't watch, but at least I know what channel it's gonna be on if I feel like tuning in.

Eva done with WWE?

She has removed all WWE references from her bio on Social media so I'd guess that's probably her done.

brandi rhodes a better in ring talent than eva

is summer done as well? i know she's injured and recovering, but was still at axxess and doing signings, so i think she may still be on the roster. still think she's one of the better ladies on the mic

It's pretty said that Eva's worse than Brandi, and Brandi only JUST started getting in the ring  girl couldn't do anything right. Couldn't talk, couldn't show emotion, and simply couldn't perform basic moves. She was barely able to get off her finishers

Seeing Eva Marie's erratic sliding STO maneuver referred to somewhere as the "Complete Sh*t" continues to be one of the funnier things I've ever heard in my life.

this looks like its the blonde chicks fault
Getting a grip on a sweaty athlete for a hold is one thing, slip happens, but it's the blonde's fault Eva nearly snapped her ankle?

BTW, I did appreciate what she brought to the ring overall, just wish she cared enough not the be a really bad wrestler in public.

I just want thank y'all for for being the best part of nt. I've been on here for 5 years now and when I found there was a wrestling community within a sneaker community, I was hooked. I know I dont contribute much due to my work schedule but I've been lurking for a hot minute and like I've said before, you guys make it easy to get through my work day and keep me updated in the wrestling world. Thank you all

Happy birthday broski

many more bruddah.
Let's get back to the actual wrestling.

Who do you feel has been the most overlooked wrestler of the Attitude Era in terms of what they accomplished versus what it would seem their ceiling should have been?

My vote goes to Billy Gunn. Athletically gifted. Great look. Could talk. Won KotR, brief feud with The Rock, numerous tag titles, IC champ, Hardcore champ.

It's surprising to me he never held a world title. Though the ***-ness gimmick may have limited him.
"Mr. ***."

I nominate D'Lo Brown as my lowkey AE pick.

I always dug his whole vibe, from the entrance to the music to his offense and finishers. He put a nice little twist on the Frog Splash and made that short powerbomb look way better than Billy Kidman. He was a Eurocontinental Champion and a frequent contender for pretty much every belt but the big one, which I always thought he should have gotten at least one shot at.

May or may not shake my locs around like dude in especially hype moments.
