Wrestling Thread June 1st-4th/Post Extreme Rules Discussion

While speaking of wrestling offense, one thing that I think needs to be implemented into video games is the amount of damage each offensive move causes for the deliverer of the move.

For example, a Tombstone Pile Driver should take a toll on the offensive wrestler's knees.
Top Rope Sentons should damage the back of the user.
A Moonsault should also put wear and tear on a wrestler's knees.

I think Yukes/2K would be scared to implement that into the 2K Series but this is an idea I have been sitting on for years. I will pitch it to Yukes because it can take that series to another level.

So this weekend I finally decided to bite the bullet and watch some of the PPVs (Slamboree 2000 and New Blood Rising) during the last days of WCW, and it reminded me why I stopped watching WCW during that time.  It did however get me to researching about the attendance and PPV buy rates (which were horrible) for WCW at that time.  However, while looking up, I came across a couple of good reads.  Some may know or came across these before, but some pieces of both are new to me.  Just thought I would share.

The first is a story that is somewhat unknown (at least at that time) story about the sale of WCW

The second is a timeline of events that led to the sale of WCW

Guess I will watch RAW tonight since I haven't watched the last few weeks.
Don't be a drone. You don't have to watch it and put yourself in probable disappointment.

Watch the Wizards/Celtics

I will be at work for most of that game so that is a no go :smh:

I never watch RAW live I always watch on the DVR so it isn't too bad of a watch. Finally caught up on Better Call Saul and that is on tonight as well :smokin

That dude just comes across as the epitome of Napoleon Complex to me. Why hasn't he worn a Rocket Raccoon costume to the ring yet, that'd be the perfect gimmick for him

Naw fam, I have been on it. I am a huge Tiger Mask fan lol. The NJPW cross over is so awesome too seeing the animated likes of Naito, Okada, Kenny, etc.

Good to hear.

The last 5 episodes have been on point. Let me bump a post I made earlier and let me know what you think

I gotta see if that Tiger Mask anime is on Crunchyroll
