Put it like this. My post was the first respone in here, i called ot shameless. I called it that cause not just a month or so back had one of the largest mass worldwide demonstration for women's rights and the civil rights of oppressed people worldwide. Millions hit the street that.

Where was pepsi then? Where was their sponsoring?

Where was kendall? So after watching people get out and making something happen, you decide to make a bubblegum version of said march? Thats my critisim of it. Its standing on a soapbox in front of your friends instead of out where everyone can see.

Then add in the reality of protests. People are hurt, assaulted and killed standing up for justice and whats right. You or I don't get smiles when we walk up with open arms.

Its a disney version of the fight freedom that is a joke to anyone who identify with that fight.

If They would have done some **** and had promotion where what you buy goes to some **** i would have been at least been like they trying. But naw they just want people to cop pepsi. Then do that **** with kendall coming out a pool or do some funny **** with some comedian.

Like i said shameless. They didn't even have the balls to stand behind it cause they knew it was tone deaf.

Props and much respect fam. I didnt look at it that way. Repped

The pornography industry as it is now is kinda frightening to me (I'm from the playboy/spice days) but ******* has some of the best trolls ever. It's hilarious how proud they are of being *******.

At ignorance being cured.

Dudes actually willing to hear another side instead of willfully ignoring opposing facts and oopinions.

Just paid attention to this. Terrible commercial. Clearly there were no black people on the team that put the ad together.

The outrage is warranted but slightly over exaggerated.

Again i don't see how people calling a spade a spade outrage. I see it being mocked and clowned on social media.

When people of colour voice any type of opinion thats not acceptance its labeled as anger, outrage or mad. Its dimissive and just puts a label on emotiona more nuisanced than basic ones like anger

But it is outrage though. We're upset, because we're the only people who protests? All protests are over equality for POC? I'm not gonna act ignorant to the fact that Pepsi wasn't being emotionally cognizant of how the commercial could have been perceived and yes that was a cheap ploy at product placement but how this can surprise you in 2017 America is somewhat comical.

What are you talking about? Where has anyone alluded to protest being sole property of color folks? I clearly used the womens march as a example bruh

Show me where i said i was susprised too. Also the idea that because people have done bad things before means we shouldn't be as upset is ridiculous.

The concept of being desensitized to the wrongs of society is sticking your head in the sand or looking the other way.

I didn't specifically single you out when mentioning protests are something specifically to people of color but more so the outrage in our community in general to a commercial showing protest, hence me saying "WE'RE". It's not so much being desensitized but more so not being surprised at white america's insensitivity.

Actually, you did.....

You made that implication that this outrage was solely by POC.
