Best 3 Album Run In Rap History???

The Kanye love on NT is disturbing.

I'll rock with Gang Starr, although would not fault anyone for suggesting Outkast 1-3 or 2-4.

1. Daily Operation
2. Hard to Earn
3. Moment of Truth
4. The Ownerz

Kanye been trash and a clown these last few years but we can't deny what he did from College Dropout to Dark Fantasy. Got one of the best catalogs ever.

LAX is easily one of his worst albums. Game doesn't have a lot of wack albums but that's one of them

Toot It and Boot It was hard. That song and the other joint that 50 was on. Loveland, Lovelace? Some ****. Both those joints were catchy. 50 jumped on those and the 50 Bi ch Remix. All three of those CA records was hard. Still Brazil was a let down. Half of that joint was wack, other half was hard.

Money had a problem with DMX being mentioned?!?!?!? (Insert Goodfellas laughing)

I'm a huge Beanie fan but I didn't feel The Reason like that. It's got heat but mad songs on there I skip.

1.Documentary,2.L.A.X,3.The Doctors Advocate.L.A.X was waaaaaaaaaay better than TDA in my opinion.I get it.We all have different opinions. But i can play L.A.X without skipping a song.Im going to skip a couple of songs on the TDA even though its good.My opinion as far as historical impact=Pac=last 3 albums,Em=First 3 commercial albums.Outkast is up there. But Aquamini would have to be replace with Speaker Box/The Love Below to be up there with the Pac/Em.DMX was close. But his 3rd album wasnt as good as his first 2.Big wouldve no doubt got it with his 3rd.If he stayed alive. He didnt work fast, but he was hella consistent.Jay and Nas have claasic albums. But were talking 3 classic albums in a row.Be real about it.I dont think they have 3 classics in a row. They do have classics though.I have love for most of the rappers named in here. But im basing this off of the impact/energy/game changing impact it had.50 dropped the ball on his 3rd album. He,s like DMX to me album wise.First 2 undoubtedly classic albums.3rd is hard to do.

No Kendrick hate here. But were talking 3 consecutive classic album run in rap history.GKMC is a classic.80 and TPAB are debatable amongst most people. So there not classics.Classics to me are albums that have multiple Hit singles.People from all walks of life (no matter race) buy it.Most people like the album or will agree its a classic without debating about it.Even if they dont like the artist. The album also leaves a stain/mark in most peoples memory of that time.Which is hard to do.Were talking top 3 undoubtedly consecutive rap albums in history. Not a decent album, classic, decent album, classic like Kendrick,Jay,Nas.We have our favorites. But take favoritism out of it.

Im not a Kanye fan at all.But ill put his crazy ××× in there off of his first 5 albums. His impact was undeniable. But his drop off after MTDF/WTT was epic in a bad way.Remember were not talking about who is your favorite.Classic Album=Hit singles, impact on the industry, sales, energy that it had.Who actually had 3 consecutive rap albums in music history.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHA @ Boosie

"Gangsta Muzik" hard as **** but you know he has no business in this thread.

I love GKMC and TPAB but I could never get into anything Pre GKMC for some reason. Not sure why.

SSLP, MMLP, TES

Based on how things turned out later, I wish he retired or just fell back into an exec role. All he's done since is ruin his legacy like a washed nba player trying to pad their stats on the way out

ehhhh, that's like saying Hawaiian Sophie > Blueprint. It's good to see where Em started, but it's not touching any of his 1st 3 official albums, especially not Eminem Show

I wasn't a big Em Show fan back when it came out but I like that album a lot now. I pay attention to his flow and patterns. You remove 2-3 songs and it's a classic for sure. He was spazzin and feeling real comfortable over his own and Dre beats.

Yep, those were some of the best beats he had. Just looking back at the track list right now, I'd remove exactly 3 songs.
