The first is a kill shot toward all those girls who post that Marilyn Monroe quote!  I wish I could type out those responses in real life lol

I used to enjoy FB because I could keep up with people from high school, but a lot of these people are corny :smh:

It's a cesspool of ignorance, fake deep people who aren't like that in real life, and then you have the depressing people who complain everyday.

I just stick to Instagram and Tumblr lately

facebook is very interesting to look up people you haven't seen in a minute lol.

but besides that. its basically a giant billboard with occasional updates from people who are not immersed in instagram.

Facebook had its time. that period where everyone in college was using it as a dictionary on cats looooool,

but that has passed .

too much unnecessary ****

You ever look up childhood crushes? Sometimes I wonder what my life would've been like if I stuck with my elementary school sweetheart for the long haul. Girl I was madly in love with in 6th grade and made a fool of myself trying to impress has no neck these days.

all of that is candid, insightful, and most of all, true. damn true.

...but the harsh truth is that all social media has done is given people a platform to be themselves.

you now really know the people you know...an online mouth can speak an offline mind.

mostly fun to see the effects, although the last line of the vid is a little disturbing in its' inevitability.

Good point. I've seen people post some political **** that wouldn't be spoken by them in real life.

I've gradually stopped using social media as much. I see the point that it allows people to have a platform to be themselves...but at the same time I feel like it messes up a person's reward system with real life events. Nowadays its more gratifying for some to get a ton of likes on a picture or post than a couple daps from your friends.

I keep snap for my friends and stuff but otherwise having a FB is to just have a presence for family. I haven't posted on there in a couple years.
