Hourly Wage Needed to Rent a 2-Bedroom Apartment in Every U.S. State

I hate CC that slob :smh:

Hudson and Bergen county are OD expensive cause now everyone wants to live heat cause it's cheaper but close to NY / Hoboken / Downtown JC.

I moved 10 mins out to Essex and caught a 2 BR with all utilities for $850. Got extreamly lucky.

^^ $850 for 2 bedroom, that's a good deal. But depends where in Essex

Yea the whole Hudson County is being gentrified. There have been alot of "accidental fires" in the past 3 years, with property owners converting into Luxury Condo's after.

They are trying to push old the low -income people out of West New York, Union City, North Bergen. Edgewater riverfront is almost all built up, you can't even get a decent view of the city skyline anymore when taking the buses on the Lincoln Tunnel helix :smh:

This one reason I need to move back down south in the next few years. Maryland rent is

I have no idea how yall do it.

I make good money and I cant see myself paying 1200 for anything less then a downtown view.
$1200 in my city got me a downtown 2 bedroom/1 BA loft with 15 foot ceilings, granite counter tops, and hard wood floors

Well, CC will be out of office in a few months. I'm for whoever can lower the cost of living. But it may be all talk in the long run tho

Other than that, looks about right for the states.  Dont live beyond your means and you'll be set almost anywhere 8)
you live in hawaii now right? c'mon man, i hope "almost anywhere" doesn't include oahu. for many people here, living within their means, means being homeless

I grew up in UC.

In my teen years many "fires" started happening.

And now condos magically popped up [emoji]129300[/emoji]

Damm shame :smh:

The whole undercliff ave in edgewater is slowly being converted to million dollar condos. They are nice tho tbh.

landlords are greedy *** holes by nature.

If people are willing to pay up, then why not?

I do think it's not fair for people who's been living in a neighborhood their entire lives, only have them pushed out because rich people are moving in and driving up the cost of living.

I have 4 properties in 3 different continents. Looking into making another purchase soon.

There are deals in Alexandria, at this stage they're the exception though and you will be digging to find them. But they can be had. Specifically Landmark.

When I lived in the DC area I held down a 2br in Rockville for $1500 for 3 years and a similar spot in silver spring for the same price(Blair Towers behind the metro over by giant, probably changed the name.) New developments seem to be going up daily in NoVa especially Rosslyn and Arlington, but the main reasons they overcharge is their school systems and relative safety.

My brother is paying $500 mortgage for 3 bed 2 bath plus 3acres in Oklahoma(30k$ down ). compared to when my parents were paying $2k for a 3 br2ba in San Diego .. and he's getting paid okay for just a hs diploma
what city? Sounds like he paid what around 85-95k.
coweta, ok.. close enough to Tulsa and broken arrow. you get the best of both city living and country living.. it was actually 140k for the house.. i think it was 30k down but might have been 40k down

Even the updated ones are wild. The inside is but the outside isn't so when you go for a tour you gotta do a double take to make sure you're at the right spot because it looks nothing like the modern contemporary luxury pics you been looking at.
