At the end of the day Russ is the reason okc will look somewhat competitive and he's also the reason they're gonna get sweeped.

Russ proved this year that averaging a triple double isn't really practical in today's NBA. It requires the whole team bending over backwards for one player and ultimately hurts more than helps

Didn't see anyone say that. I think people are saying he's the same player he was last year w/KD in the sense that he tries to hero-ball his way to a win late in games. Sometimes it works, other times (like last night) it fails miserably. But either way, that's not gonna work well in the playoffs.

I ask again when has Brooks ran this ISO ball offense in Washington? He was to blame when he coached in OKC. Did Brooks change his style or is the primary ball handler different?

they absolutely said brooks changed his style though. they said he took time away from the game and really evaluated his own coaching style. They said he went to analytics conferences and everything and really took on the challenge of growing as a coach. So yea..he changed.
