How is he still 27?

Dudes got a daughter in high school. I know it happens, but still.

He doesn't rebound like he used to.

Blocking shots way less.
I don't think you can make a judgment about Ibaka being washed based on his time in Orlando.

Those numbers declined in each of his last 2 seasons in OKC too though. His 3 best seasons were at age 22-24 allegedly.

Fair.  As I remember they started moving him away from the basket on O during that time period, though I could be wrong.

When you're born outside the U.S. its easier to fudge your age. I got a couple coworkers who fudged their age when they entered the states for fear of not being able to find work. Now they should be retired but can't because of it. With that said I think NeNe is about 46

Prior to that 4th quarter Russell was having one of the most dominant games in playoff history on 52% shooting. That style of play that everyone is complaining about had them up 12 almost exclusively due to his play and energy. he sat for a MINUTE and that 12 pt lead went to 3  . Now i will admit he def took a lot of wild shots to end the game but this isn't a matter of his team being capable and not getting chances, when shots are available and open his teammates are still hesitant and scared to shoot. dude literally can't get a rest w/o his team falling behind.
He's got to be smart enough to know when to turn it on and off.

I'm having my doubts that he can simmer down when needed.

You clearly don't even watch the games, just listen to the talking heads.  Get off ESPN.

So obvious you didn't even play NBA basketball.
I'm just messing with you, man.  Chose the least relevant quote to reply that too...  And it actually makes a credible NT comment.

Rudy Gobert is OUT for Game 3

How important is Rudy? I think the Clips are one of the best teams at the rim shooting like 64% around there, the Jazz allow like 57% at the rim or something like that, the Clips through two games are at 75% at the rim. Yikes.

If Jazz can split at home (without Rudy).

And he can come back in a game 5, 6, or 7 they will still be alright IMO.

I would disagree only because the Clippers have been pretty successful against Utah w/Gobert in the lineup. Obviously Gobert helps though and you'd rather have him there than ot.

But a bigger issue for Utah is the Gordon Hayward / Luc matchup. He's been awful all season plus the first two playoff games against Luc. W/O rudy, I don't know how they're going to win this series if he can't shake free.

On the Clippers side, they're getting absolutely nothing from their two guards in Jamal and JJ. The series becomes much tougher for the clips if neither of them can provide ANYTHING. However, CP, Blake, and DJ will probably be enough to get them by Utah even if JJ and Jamal continue to be MIA if Gordon continues to be bad.

Andre Drummond must really be 34 then. He been dookie since December of 2015

No doubt but how old is he? Will you lock him up for a max? Or near a max?
I would be nervous about it, but his type of player can be super valuable for the right type of contender.  Probably would not want to max though.

oh...it was russ fault that okc lost last year and why he didnt win with KD?

bet.

Now I know yall truly are casual fans and dont actually watch ball, just highlights form the talkin heads.

And I can group yall in the same category as my boy that thinks reggie jackson is as athletic as russ and wall and my other homie that said lebron should start a credit union with michael jordan.
You say "ya'll" but you're literally only referring to one person.

"Now I know yall truly are casual fans and dont actually watch ball, just highlights form the talkin heads." one of the most meaningless/stupid statements that people always make on NT for some reason.

it's meaningless and stupid how exactly? Casual fans and those that just watch SC are ill equipped to have to have intelligent sports conversation because they simply do not watch enough. They watch for the entertainment value. Probably while they do other stuff. Same as watching a sitcom or movie. When you're casual, you paint your opinions with a broad brush and overlook the intricacies and depth of what you're actually seeing. The average casual fan probably cannot even explain the 1-3 pnr. Or what per means, or any of those types of things. But yet, they still feel justified to have an opinion. Having an opinion on something you know little about is boneheaded. Same as me giving advice to an aeronautics engineer about his next wing design.

When you hear someone draw these stupid conclusions and critiques, you should know immediately they either A. are casual fans and it's pointless to debate with them. B. They aren't casual and they just have no idea what they're actually watching. or C. They may watch and have an understanding, but also never played or touched the court to understand how certain dynamics work. While I am not saying C. is a requirement of understanding, it definitely adds real world value and experience to ideas critics have. When you hear a guy say 'oh, he should just attack the rim on every play' or 'ahh i could score on iggy' (which I'm sure I could) or 'GM's have it so easy and there's no excuse for not getting quality players' or 'it's not that Russ's teammates aren't skilled, its that they aren't empowered by russ to believe in themselves'.

"Uhmmm it's called self esteem. it's about how you feel about yo mfkn self. how are you blaming me for how you feel about YOU, simple *****?"

wait wait wait.

Serge is listed at 27 years old ??

And he has a daughter in friggin high school ???

[/quote]The Clippers have 16 more points at the rim than the jazz I believe. That's Rudy in a nutshell.

Wait, who are you?

Are you Stan Van Gundy?

The real answer is: it's stupid because you're avoiding having a debate and it adds nothing to the conversation.  You obviously know many people who disagree with you actually watched the games.  There are NBA analysts and professionals who disagree with you.  People posted actual film in this thread of Westbrook ignoring open teammates at the end of the game.  So it makes it seem like you aren't able to engage in actual discussion.
