The funny thing about your statement is that many of these younger NBA fans are rooting for the Spurs because they see them as some type of historical underdog against the Warriors. Which is bizarre.

2 typically uptempo teams , especially wizards , that have played with the same playstyle for 90 + games will slow down now ? nah , the only reason the previous game was ugly was because both benches scored like 12 points overall

well at least during regular season , washington was the only team that brought the best out of the cavs
and if you look at the matchup of every position in was vs cavs the starting 5 is pretty balanced
wall is kinda equal to irving all around
beal is better than smith
lebron is better than porter
morris is worse than love
gortat is better than tristan
beal is significantly better than smith while the same happens with lebron and porter ( although the gap between em is smaller than the smith - beal imo )
the difference lies on the bench between them 2
while boston is OUTPLAYED in every position against the cavs , only horford is better than tristan and maybe bradley than smith due to his great D

cavs were on cruise control since like a mid season.. weren't they a below .500 team with pretty horrible defensive and offensive team ratings since that point?

whats the difference in the playoffs ? the series against the pacers could easily have ended 4-2 instead of 4-0 since the pacers almost got the first game and choked on the 3rd one ( a pacers team that is pretty bad actually ) and then they swept tha craptors that hardly eliminated thon maker , dellavedova , jason terry and tony snell . the wizards and the celtics are far better teams than the previous 2 lebron faced
