Gortat mad...

Marcin Gortat said this summer he's going to speak with agent & figure out "if this is the right fit."

Gortat: "I know how the business works."
Says this after pointing out how team signed younger Ian Mahinmi to longer contact.

Gortat said he felt he "did more sacrificing" than anyone on team while playing under appreciated role as a center.

Gortat takes offense from the "freakin idiots" who pointed out his four points in Game 7 & not his other contributions: screens, rebs.

oh....

if by some miracle the celtics make this cavs series go atleast 6 you gotta give up your draft pics and a couple young guys for paul george, jimmy butler, cousins or two of either next season

or just be content on sitting on young prospects for the next 5 years and wait til lebron retires
I don't see how they'd land Cousins right after signing Horford. $113mil? You gonna have to wait for owners to sign their star players and hope someone would take him off of you if they C's are gonna try to get Boogie. We all know Paul's going to the Lakers (unfortunately). Butler will be their best bet, maybe even Gordon Hayward.

I think Otto could wind up taking less than the max to stay in DC, he doesn't strike me as the type to take the money and be "the man" on a terrible team like the Nets or Kings. He's no where near being a savior and doesn't have the personality to handle the pressure

Doubt that happens. If anything another team is gonna sign him to a max and the wizards will match

IT2 is only making 7 mil. They can go over the cap to sign him after theoretically signing Boogie. They'd have to let everyone else go basically at that point though outside of those 3 after you max out IT2.

With his improvement though, I wouldn't expect him taking THAT much less. I'm sure he'll be out looking for the money.
Gortat was pure trash in the playoffs.
Wouldn't say trash, I'd say more just was like whatever. He was there, but didn't do much.

Sounds almost like the Clippers/KD situation last off season lmao

Gortat mad...

oh....

the audacity  Gortat was the same one complaining last year, lol at wanting props for setting screens while Horford gives you buckets non stop all series long

I think the writing is on the wall (no pun) with dude...He's the one guy who I would constantly see Wall get visibly frustrated with during the course of the year. ****, even think about the final 3 seconds of game 6. Dude was in the wrong place defensively and Wall was screaming at him to move. He's got mobility issues due to his age and a complete lack of awareness on defense. Those two factors combined is a recipe for disaster.

Otto's repped by David Falk. He's going to want every penny, and in today's NBA, he'll get it.

But I thought he was better than Paul George? Isn't Gordon Hayward just a white Otto Porter?

The nerve of this clown

I remember when defense was one his strengths

I agree 100%, with that said..... he's still eons better than Mahinmi. I shutter to think of Mahinmi being our starting center, his mobility is even worse than Gortat's

Out of Gortat, Smith, and Mahinmi, who do you think will be on the roster on opening night next season? Too many chefs in the kitchen....

Even if the Celtics get swept in the ECF, gotta give credit to Brad Stevens. Dude is getting the most out of these guys.

But NT told me he's not a good coach because the roster was designed to tank for half his tenure so far.

Gortat will probably be a goner after this talk, just don't see a suitable replacement but I haven't taken a look at upcoming free agents yet so I'll chill until then

An update on the bracket challenge:

After round 2, @BlackIntellect is in first place, followed by @IluvJordanXI and @Bennyhinn.

Also I still haven't settled on a prize for the winner yet, so please feel free to suggest something.

Last place belongs to @leemelone and @RBK93

Leemelone must not hoop.

rough season for my dude Leemelone...

from Lakers making the playoffs, to losing multiple bets and now last place bracket :smh:

probably shooting in the gym as we speak.
