Again in the grander scheme of things, who cares about making it to them if you aint winning every one of em.

It's a great accomplishment but just making it alone isn't making anyone the GOAT. I much rather only make it to 6 but win every single one of them thangs.

Nah. Brady wouldn't be the GOAT if he was 3-4 instead of 5-2.

It isn't a fair comparison. The top player in NBA has a disproportionate effect on the team's success, given that there are 5 players on the court instead of 11, and you play 80%+ minutes unless you're a modern-day pampered NBA star (unlike in football or even hockey).

QB also has a big effect on a team's success, in that you can't really win if your QB is having a terrible day, although you can win with a good team and a middling* QB.

I would still argue that Lebron is more critical to the Cavs chances at winning than Brady is to the Patriots chances at winning, at least in the regular season. In the finals/super bowl, I'd say both teams need their star to be able to win.

One more piece to the story -- this year, at least, Cavs beat a historically great NBA team, whereas the Patriots beat a historically mediocre Super Bowl opponent (Falcons haven't won a championship since....). Point is, it's hard to compare.

6-0 is clearly better than 3-4, but is 3-4 vs. 5-2 that different compared to all the other variables that go into it?

IT2 is only making 7 mil. They can go over the cap to sign him after theoretically signing Boogie. They'd have to let everyone else go basically at that point though outside of those 3 after you max out IT2.
